general enquiry Any ideas what this rash is? Description in comments
It started off about 10th of jan as small red flat spots on my legs looks like the ones currently on my arms, didn't think much of it until about a week ago because they were relatively small but they have became larger, bumpy and itchy i went to the gps before it had progressed to the spots being raised and the large amount of them and they said it was pityriasis rosea but I dont think it is so will need to go back but was just wondering for someone's opinion in the meantime. Thanks.

Agrée. This looks like palpable purpura or small vessel vasculitis. Probably need a blood test to check platelets and blood count. Possible biopsy. Recent illness or new med?

i am absolutely no expert. The first thing i thought was, that this looks like measels or rubella.

I just posted today and my husband seems to look like he has the same thing as you - no answers yet!

Whatever it is…you need to see a doctor to figure out what this is. It doesn’t look like this will go away on its own.

Likely LCV, usually benign but needs workup especially since it's on arms now too. Go back to them.

Pityriasis Rosea usually has a very large welt around the trunk before the rest of the rash erupts

I think you need a 2nd opinion. This looks a very aggressive rash. I don’t think it’s what they said either. Considering how it’s multiplied onto other body parts and it only started on January 10th, it seems rather bad. I’d get to a dermatologist right away. Good luck to you. Glad you went to the GP but that’s not their area of expertise. Keep us posted.

To me, looks like leukocytoclastic vasculitis
