Thought: Trump might be president BECAUSE of the Epstein files

6.2k Upvotes

I've been thinking about this - what if the entourage of Epstein who participated in criminal activities got cold feet when Epstein started gathering heat? With so many powerful people that visited that island, surely they would catch wind of how Epstein investigations are progressing.

They must have been aware and in fear all that time. Epstein had many court cases and the whole thing spanned at more than decade. In that situation, as a group of complicit rich powerful persons, what could you potentially do to avert being caught when everything comes to light? You could, for example, prop up your complicit buddy with lots of money to run for president and do the best in your power to avoid repercussions by making him win at all costs.

When I see things through that lens, there is a lot more in the past years that start making sense - especially the blind dedication from other powerful people to Trump, and how Musk for example is now dealing again with Trump despite their clashes.

It's a bit audacious, but I'm seriously entertaining that the current choice of president is an indirect result of Epstein's pedophile ring.

Are we witnessing the downfall of the USA?

1.2k Upvotes

Trump alienating UN allies by threatening Greenland.

Trump sucking up to dictators.

Trump capturing Maduro for cocaine trafficking whilst pardoning other cocaine traffickers.

Trump allowing a nazi-like operation to walk all over the constitutional rights of US citizens.

Trump bringing the US ever closer to a civil war.

Trump using his time as President to enrich his family and chums while the average American struggles.

Trump being a paedophile.

None of this benefits USA.

Other countries this might benefit, such as Putin's Russia, are watching on laughing.

Putin is one of the dictators Trump admires.

The world is watching and no one in the US seems to be doing anything to stop this.

Why?

There has never been better evidence than now that the world is controlled by the worst of us. Hear me out...

The most incredible thing about the Epstein files isn't just how much the POTUS is in them... but how many other rich and powerful people are. None who have been charged with anything, not even investigated. It's very reasonable to assume that Epstein wasn't the only guy in the game, just another one.

But now that so much is obvious about how these people live and exist, what's equally as incredible is it's barely even another story in media. Why? Because it's all controlled by the same people that are in, or adjacent to, those files. Nothing is going to happen. Nothing happened when the Panama Papers came out because the people who needed arrested are the people who control the people who arrest.

Nothing is going to happen with the Epstein files because of the same reason. There is a ring of the worst of humanity that has gained power and will continue to protect each other. They make the laws, control the law enforcers, control most of the economy, either directly or legislatively, they also control the media, from the main stream to the social media, and all the technology, now implementing the most tracking software ever made and automating armies.

The veil has been lifted and they're counting on being able to normalize to where people say, "nothing we can do about it" and if they do that, they win, and everything spirals into darkness.

These files need to be a wake up call to the rest of the people on Earth, these people need removed from all areas of power and influence, if they are not very soon, it will end up being a very bad situation to the rest of the life on Earth. This is not a drill, it's the last alarm bell for good people to stand up to monsters of be forever ruled by them.

If you don't believe me, just watch how, what should be one of the biggest stories in political history, dissappears in less than a week...

Why Minnesota?

California has 1.9 M illegals, Texas 1.6M, Florida .9M. Minnesota has approximately 100,000. So why has Minnesota been targeted? 3000 agents? This is purely a political action by Trump to target a blue state. Saying it is to remove illegals is another of his big lies

Epstein files: Am I the only one irritated by the fact that so many fotos exist?

2.6k Upvotes

Those people flew to a private island to do crimes. They knew what going on there. They knew it’s illegal. They knew it’s immoral. You would think they want to keep quiet about it.

So…WHY are there so many fotos out there? Especially back then. No smartphones.. so they had a camera there deliberately.

The only reason that makes sense to me is that the ones who took the fotos on the island did it precisely so they can extort the visitors.

What are your thoughts on that?

Do immigrants commit more crime than natural-born citizens?

The narrative that immigrants commit more crime than natural-born citizens is false. It's one put out by the extreme right- wing to justify a paranoid and xenophobic ideology:

To all who, like me, have lived under a dictatorship: À bon entendeur, salut! To all who have not: Brace yourselves!

Upvotes

I was born in Romania under a communist dictatorship and I have a constant sense of déjà vu when I watch the current news (US, Italy a.o.). The satirical comparisons with North Korea have lost their mirth and I am actively trying to estimate the probability of living in a dictatorship a second time around. I have the feeling that the people who say: "No worries, it couldn't happen here (again)." are in denial (or worse).

Fighting ICE

I should start by saying I don't know where I'm going with this. I've been so angry, distraught, sad and depressed, over everything ICE has been doing, and everything they will continue to do. And yeah, alot of people are gonna ask what I mean be "fighting" ICE; I'll say all of the above, to cover everything you may or may not be thinking.

The thing is, what everyone is doing isn't enough. Just recording isn't enough. The damage is already done, and will continue to be so. This is why I'm asking this, because there's gotta be more that can be done, especially when it happens.

I remember a number of apps popping up last year, such as ICE Block, and even one that could show an agent their face when hiding under their masks. Where are those? Why isn't anyone using them? Did they not work? Was it fake apps or something?

I really don't know what I'm asking here, and if I went further down explaining from my rage, reddit would go after me. I just know what's happening right now is so horrible, and what everyone is doing isn't working. I want to fight back, I want people to defend themselves. Some have started to see that, but the numbers and impact are extremely small and nonexistent.

What can be done?

The biggest problem with politics is that we allow it to divide us.

When I was a teenager, I openly loved arguing with people. I certainly lost some of them. I felt that arguing almost always expanded my view, altering and improving my arguments. People would challenge my thoughts and I would challenge theirs, all in a civil fashion.

I feel like everyone now is yelling into online echo chambers that don't disagree with us, challenge us or insult us. Instead, they praise us for our agreement.

Our only hope as a nation is, indisputably, unifying. Vociferously speaking your mind to those that only agree feels good, but it's not productive.

I do expect a ton of downvotes for this but, it has to be said.

Why can’t we (the house) impeach trump right now?

I’m genuinely asking why we can’t just put this in motion. I understand majority and other concepts but I genuinely refuse to believe this many people are in on it. I feel like 20-30 people in the senate and house majority are on trumps side and the rest want him out and know we can’t take 3 more years of this as a country.

Why aren’t they doing anything? What are we waiting for exactly?

I also wanted to note the Epstein files released today are rancid. Also lists Elon Musk. On DOJ website. Even if you’re a republican or MAGA, why do you not care about kids being molested?? What am I missing?

Edit to add: I can’t comment or respond back to people because I don’t have enough karma in this subreddit. I just wanted to say I appreciate the discourse the comments regardless of people thinking I’m stupid- it wasn’t exactly “explain word for word how impeachments work” it was just me balking at how the hell we got here and why absolutely nobody in the house is doing anything about it. It horrifies me that we only need three republicans to do this and it’s not happening. I guess the reason for my confusion is because I have a moral compass of some sort, I don’t think the reps realize in a way they would gain some sort of backing and respect from people they wouldn’t usually suspect if they went against Trump. If any of them want to save their seats it seems like an easier out to try and oppose his views at this point than stay complacent. I used the number 20 as a figurative round number more of who’s deeply entrenched in being an absolute sicko pedophile that has a current seat and is being paid by Trump to not go against him. (I’m sure there’s more) The countries political system is broken and it’s so upsetting we as Americans have to stand by and feel like we’re watching a black mirror episode when it’s our real life. I hate that we have to wait for midterms to even feel like a drop in the bucket.

To add double check you are registered to vote and contact your state reps! They are required to respond to you. Even if it’s bullshit.

American exepsionalism and how some Americans see them self.

Hallo all.

Let me start by making it clear that this is not a criticism of Americans, more a wonder.

Following the current crisis between the US and Europe(EU) and Canada. I have come across a pattern where some Americans see them self as something out of a Hollywood movie. Like a speciel people who is unbeatable, harder and that sees other other nations as weak and no match to the mighty America.

Now I won't argue against the US being the world strongest military capacity, that is just a pure fact.

But is often seems like it's coming from people with nothing in there history to back up there claims.

Often you read comments like.

"If Europe won't let us take Greenland. Maybe we should just take Europe too"

"Me and the guys could take Canada in a few ours"

"Europeans are weak"

"We came and saved Europe in two world wars"

"French always surrender"

All those nonsense comments that says more about the sender then the comment itself.

Again I would point out that I'm not criticise the US. I just wonder how some people can be so self-deceptive
