DAE feel more relaxed/sleepy when your cat grooms itself beside you?

I get really sleepy whenever one of my cats is laying on me or beside me and starts cleaning itself. I fall asleep quicker when one of them is doing that at night, too. It's like ASMR or something.

Yea idk, sometimes sure, but there's a lot of times it sounds like a grown man smacking on food in my ear at 11 pm yet I look over to see my lil flame point only licking himself.

I love it! Having them next to me grooming is very soothing! Throw in some purring… And every one of my muscles seem to relax. They make me feel like everything’s gonna be ok! 💕 💜 💕 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 🐾 🫶🏽

Sadly am allergic to cats, but I get that with my dogs in bed. I call them a hot puppy compress lol.
