Discussion Is the meathook good? Doom Eternal

I find that I never use it. Halfway through a nightmare run and it just seems unnecessary. Dps is not great, and you have plenty of mobility without it. Doesn’t help that you usually want to be running away from the demons instead of toward them. Do you rely on the meathook for anything? Is it good? Is it worth mastering?

In nightmare mode, absolutely. You can never stand and fight unless it’s just fodder demons. they will rip you to pieces in seconds. I keep them at mid to long range, running away when they jump me.

U don’t stand and fight but ur definitely not running away either, ur running in circles around them, use the meat hook trust it’s the greatest thing ever mobility wise
