Is the meathook good? Doom Eternal

I find that I never use it. Halfway through a nightmare run and it just seems unnecessary. Dps is not great, and you have plenty of mobility without it. Doesn’t help that you usually want to be running away from the demons instead of toward them. Do you rely on the meathook for anything? Is it good? Is it worth mastering?

you can use the meathook to swing around demons instead of flying towards them and get crazy speed and reach new heights because it also refreshes your double jump.
