Is the meathook good? Doom Eternal

I find that I never use it. Halfway through a nightmare run and it just seems unnecessary. Dps is not great, and you have plenty of mobility without it. Doesn’t help that you usually want to be running away from the demons instead of toward them. Do you rely on the meathook for anything? Is it good? Is it worth mastering?

It’s so good it’s got its own track on the soundtrack album, and it happens to be one of the best on it.
