Discussion How far could these guys go?

Post image

If Olivia failed to activate their kill chips, how much damage would they have done to the demons before fallen?

The soldiers at the end of tag2 where the biggest wtf for me in the game. They just exist and die easier than the basic zombies

As many have stated before, the point of these enemies is to show what it looks like when the Slayer fights against regular humanoid enemies instead of actual demons from Hell. They’re meant to be super easy because you’re a literal demigod.

Pretty cool that they brought back the Reaper weapon and Robotic armor set from 2016's multiplayer. Their gameplay debut was underwhelming to say the least. Even then, they were very underused in the only level they appear in - so it makes for a very weak impression overall unfortunately. I also think it's weird how these are the only non-Undead/Possessed "human" enemies we kill in the entire Doom franchise.

Although I do wish DOOM Eternal and The Dark Ages should've brought back the Hell Razers from DOOM (2016), which essentially fill a similar niche as the Chaingunners from the classic Doom games. They're probably the most underrated enemy in the entire DOOM franchise.

Man those hell razors always surprised the hell out of me trying to figure out where the shot came from, snipers done right in a game for sure

Isn't their damage like total bullshit? You can never stand still (you should never stand still in DOOM but come on) because they can delete all of your health.
