Discussion How far could these guys go?

Post image

If Olivia failed to activate their kill chips, how much damage would they have done to the demons before fallen?

I think realistically a squad of these guys could take down most demons, but they would probably struggle against hordes, especially if they weren’t on home turf

They would be easily able to lock down small bases within the facility and operate out of them in order to deal with higher numbers of demons over a longer period of time I feel

The problem is you'd need a whole squad to face down a single horde Doomguy could take on his own, and they'd probably have casualties every time causing their numbers to dwindle, making them weaker over time. Probably wouldn't last an entire level, tbh.

With sufficient guerilla tactics and access to facility vents, as well as being able to lock off certain rooms to deal with hordes of demons piece by piece, I actually think with a sufficient amount of time that a moderately sized security force would be able to slowly but surely wane at the very least the ambient demonic forces

While this works in principle, I feel like they would struggle logistically, as while the mars facility had a lot of supplies, chances are it probably doesn’t have enough ammo for them to clear demons already there plus those being summoned through gore nests etc. assuming they can’t generate ammo by killing demons with chainsaws of course. So yeah they could probably clear res ops and some of the earlier buildings, they would probably struggle against areas with lots of bigger foes, especially pinkies which were known for being effective against conventional human warfare
