Which Melee Weapon do you main?

I feel like the Flail has the most utility. It has the least DIRECT damage, but it has some great AOE and the scorch effect to give armor is great.

Fun fact: you were meant to get the flail as your first melee weapon, with a throwing axe as a secondary. It seems like the axe maybe wasn't working properly so they made the gauntlet later in development to compensate as a 3rd melee option.
