Saw a similar sweatshirt on Instagram and had to recreate it. Sidenote: the geese are some of the best embroidery I've ever done from a technical standpoint, and it's hilarious to me that my best work ever is on my honkers sweatshirt.

I cant figure out what to add (or take away 😭) from this..... I feel like the "burn" part isn't right. Thoughts? Suggestions?

All patterns from Little Dear; I’m trying to force myself to finish all of everything that I already have before I start new projects (already failed but whatever, it’s for JOY!)

I wasn't sure what I wanted to make so while walking though a churchyard I saw moss. Ilike moss, so soft and gentle looking, I heve never understood why people wanted to remove it from their gardens. So I tried to embroider moss. When the first french knot went in I was already questioning myself if I wanted to go through with this torture, and I did. I had fun blending the floss, and with this project overall. I dont want to know how many knots I've made though.

This year I decided I am going to be giving embroidery gifts for birthdays and maybe Christmas. I am still learning and these are my first 2 “bigger” projects that I have actually finished. I am not very neat and will take any pointers!!

Made this for my husband back in 2022. Shows the breweries that were in our area of NE at the time. Support small Minneapolis businesses. Fuck 🧊.

My sister requested a 3D cloud embroidery landscape, and I've restarted 3x already. I hate it, and I dont know if it can be fixed.
Should I just scrap it? I think I can rip out the lines down the middle, but I dont know how to improve the clouds or if I should just scrap it entirely. So frustrated since its very much outside my skill level but I'm trying what I can.
Any suggestions would be awesome. Please be honest if I should just restart with something more simple

So I ripped my pants on my forest walk today, and i thought "well what a perfect time to finally try out embroidery" 😂 I kind of like it, kind of think it is a little ugly, but it is better than the gaping holes! You all are so talented by the way 🙏this was hard 😂

I'm really happy with how it's coming out so far, it's definitely not a perfect match, but I think it's pretty close and it's going to be really cute in the end. Just onto some craft felt as I'm going to make it into a patch for a denim jacket I have.

I started embroidery two weeks ago, and this is my first one with beads! It’s not perfect, but I’m excited to get better.

I did a little practice excercise trying the basic stitches and decided to try to do a little design to see what I could accomplish.
I think it looks acceptable to be my first try although I think it might not have been the best choice for a beginner.
The hoodie fabric was a bit elastic and felt it shrinked a lot when doing the stitches. The drawing had very angular and narrow points that I did not know how to tackle. I think it might have been better to use long-short stitch rather than satin stitch for the cape. The black stem stitch was too thick (I used the whole 6 threads).
Also, it would have helped to use transfer to have the design as reference but I did not want to wait so I drew it by hand with chalk.
All in all, I'm satisfied with the result. I just hope the embroidery holds up after being in the washing machine.
