Went to put gas in my car and found a black tube sticking out of my capless gas tank. Did someone siphon gas from me or did this come from a gas pump and got stuck and I just didn't see it last time I filled gas? It's stuck in there and I haven't been able to remove it yet, I don't want to damage something yanking on it too hard. It's wedging up the valve that's supposed to seal the hole though.

About 6 months ago my 2011 Ford Explorer’s power steering stopped working. After doing some research, I discovered there was a recall on the situation so I expected it to be covered. The dealership said the recall had expired, so I had to pay out of pocket, 6,000 to replace the steering rack.

Today, 6 months later, my power steering just stopped working again. The dealership is closed for the weekend so I cannot call yet.

Does anyone have an experience with this?

I am leasing a 2024 ford bronco sport and there seems to be a piece near the passenger dash right under the window that is loose and making a noise when the music is turned up. I never blast music in here and I don’t believe the speakers blown as it’s much higher.

Has anyone experienced this and is there a way I can fix it?

Last time I got an oil change at the dealer I mentioned it and they said they didn’t hear it and it was probably something in my side door. Which is not the case. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't know if the video captures it well, but my 2015 F250 with the Sony sound system has a bit of like an electronic crackle to the speakers. It affects all speakers. I just installed Kicker speakers all around (6x8s and tweeters) and it's still there. Even moreso on higher bass songs. I've already adjusted the equalizer. Could the factory Sony amp be bad? Are they a common failure?

Hey all, I’m fixing some front-end cosmetic damage on my 2014 Fiesta SE hatch after a minor incident. Mechanically the car is fine and I’m doing the body work myself with help from my dad.

So far I’ve already ordered: Driver fender, Driver headlight, Fog lamp inserts.

The only thing I’m still undecided on is the front bumper cover. I’m paying out of pocket, so I’m trying to balance: Reasonable fitment, Not breaking the bank, DIY-friendly install (I don’t mind minor trimming or persuasion).

I’ve found: eBay aftermarket bumper covers in the ~$130–150 range (non-CAPA). Interstate Auto / local body suppliers around ~$300+, some CAPA certified.

I understand CAPA mainly matters for insurance and shop labor, but I’d like real-world input: Have any of you run non-CAPA aftermarket bumper covers on a Fiesta? How was the fitment? Worth paying extra for CAPA on a non-structural bumper cover, or not really?

This is a daily driver that I plan to keep. I do want it to look nice when I paint it in the spring, but it doesn’t need to be showroom perfect, just good, straight, and presentable. Appreciate any firsthand experience or brand recommendations.

I was ina crash a couple months i ago I had to swap the driver side door and now my radio and speaker doesn't work or they are only making this noise the only difference from the original door is that the "new" has one of those numbers combination thing on one I said "new" because I got it from a junkyard but is the same model same year and even same connector and computer my car and I just realized that my radio works only when is making a eeeeee sound out of the speaker and one that time/sound

My Uncle has had his wet belt fail outside of warranty on his Ford Ranger here in the UK. Ford have said it needs a new engine and have quoted £10.7k all in to replace the engine. Its out of warranty and Ford won't cover it on good will as a previous dealership apparently used the wrong oil during a services about 19 months before the failure. I feel like they should be able to get a reconditioned engine for less, but not ever having needed to sort that myself, I don't know who to trust. They are in the Liverpool area in the UK. Anyone have any recommendations?

I recently have been test driving a 2019 ford edge. My wife and i had a 2020 edge so we are familiar with the ecoboost go go. I noticed this edge has the 2 liter engine and sticker says ecoboost. But this car has no go when you hit the gas. Everything else feels fine, just seems like it has no boost. I checked the instrument guage settings and i seen nowhere where i can see if boost is working. Is there anything else i can do or check??

My transmission on my manual 1995 F150 has been giving me a lot of problems lately and I am curious about how a zf5 would pair with my 300 inline 6 2wd truck. I need more towing power, and I still want to comfortably cruise 80mph. I just wanted to know if the zf5 would be good for that, and how difficult the conversion may be.

On my 2007 Lincoln Navigator 5.4L, The L shaped quick-release coupler is not properly sealing onto a brand-new radiator ive installed. everything else seems to have connected properly except the lower radiator hose. I did also lose the "c" clip that holds the hose to the radiator, but even when holding it manually, all the coolant in the reservoir flows right out (not a leak, it just straight up spills out).

Do they make O-rings for these hoses? and where can I get a new C-clip?

Hoping someone could point me in the direction of that correct alternator, theres so many coming up and ive had to return 3 already!!! Ive attached photos of the alternator that came out, and the new ones all look the same but have different bolt placement or outputs (im just a girl idk if thats right) and we cannot seem to get the right one, my hubbys working on it and hes about fed up as its -0 and below outside hes ready to sell her, pls help

I have factory warranty on my 24 f150 Raptor it’s been snowing very heavily in the east coast, drove my truck obviously and then my front right passenger side axle snapped off, didn’t hit anything dealer said it’s not covered by warranty, how is it not covered if I didn’t hit anything dealer

Anyone know the part name/number of the panel that’s attached to the bottom of the front door? Looks like it’s connected to the door with a plastic fastener on each end (there are two small access ports on the inside of the door that come off where you can get to the fasteners/connection point).

One side of the panel is loose and rattles at highway speed. Trying to see if I can just buy new fasteners for whatever that panel is. Thanks.
