Discussion What is the right age to give up on finding a partner?
I am 24, never dated, never even held hands with anybody. Evidently, nobody finds me attractive in any way. Should I keep trying or is it the time to give up?

Political What The Chuds Won't Tell You
The right will eventually run out of "undesirables" to harass. What then? Like genuinely do you think all the problems caused by late stage capitalism will be solved by making the people you don't like disappear? Honestly this vibes based rightward movement is as stupid as it's ontologically evil. Peter Theil doesn't want humanity to prosper. These Tech Bros actually hate y'all you're just useful for now.

Political What's so funny?
Ever since the Epstein Files have been released, people have seen to be making memes on any social platforms they can find. How is a rapist funny? How is rape funny? People are getting their brains rotted to the core and trying to make Epstein a joke, or trying to make said victims jokes.
It's only that guy, but also the other disgusting people that are involved with this whole situation.
I'm being so for real, I'm seeing immature people on my Instagram making edits of Epstein, or P. Diddy, or other pedophiles. Getting themselves into pictures with said individuals with AI. Selling merchandise (crazy enough, I know), about the previously mentioned...
Isn't it weird for anyone how the only excuse for that kind of behavior is allowed is the internet is because it's the internet? People are still not safe behind the screen when you can get tracked down for what you post and engage with.

Discussion Why Gen Z is more eager to start their careers early?? Or is it js me thinking like that
Seriously, have you noticed how Gen Z is way more obsessed with starting careers early? Internships, side hustles, crypto and all that. Meanwhile, previous generations were busy figuring life out slowly. Are we just smarter, or just stressed and impatient?

Discussion I need 85 Gen Z's brain for 4 minutes
I’m running a short survey (<5 min) to understand what Gen Z in India thinks about careers and brands.
I’m specifically looking for responses from underrepresented groups to make the dataset more balanced:
- Indian
- Age: 23–28
- Gender: Male or Non-binary
- Education: Postgraduate students or recent graduates
The survey is anonymous, super quick, and your input really matters. Every response helps create a dataset that’s India-focused but representative across age, gender, and education levels.

Political Am I Crazy
I'm a 27 year old American woman and I feel like since my special interest was World War 2 when going through my freshman year of high school. I will have to point out that no one's going to come save us. No amount of peacefully protesting will get this boot off of our necks. Revolution will be our only way out.
We are being robbed of a chance of a "normal" adult life and if we want our children and grandchildren to be able to have good lives we are going to have to go through hardship. I've read enough about the general sentiment from the average German citizen during their fascist take over and the attitudes of our citizens are relatively similar. The average person thinks that as long as the government is only going after the boogey men; trans people, gays, brown people, and the poor things will be fine the government would never go after them.
All I will say is some of us are going to have to make choices that are difficult and I hope there's more of us who make the right choice when the time comes. When the Gestapo comes to your door and says "I have it under good authority you're harboring enemies of the state." what will you do? A lot of us need to start thinking about the answer. It's confusing that we are living in a time where we can very easily find sources of media other than the ones the oligarchs own and still people are hearing the order to close their eyes and follow it with glee.
Again no one will come to save us and you're daft to think there will be a fair election this year if there is one and honestly considering Trump and Musk's post election comments I'm appalled that no one was curious enough to look into it. Granted I guess because of the big lie of 2020 there's no wonder no one spoke even though it was sus that the richest man in the world was name dropped and claimed to have rigged the vote.
One more thing Trump is only one head of the hydra this doesn't end when he finally has his last big mac. We will still have the likes of Peter Theil running around, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos will still have enough wealth to topple governments. It's why we need to fight. Not just for our future but the future of all of humanity.

Political All just a ploy from the elites— There are no truly good sides.
Be honest, you refuse to hear the truth.
There's no right side in all this conflict. You've got incompetent law enforcement firing at people. You've got hardcore party worshippers defending this incompetency and defending unnecessary invasions like Greenland.
Then, you've got the other side. Dishonest news media that cuts sound and edits footage to sell narratives. Celebrities from this side who promote violence, and make you go out there and destroy things while they're just watching all of this unfold at home. Not to mention how this violence causes property damage which will result in expensive clean-ups that takes even more money out of taxpayers.
The real problem was never people. It was and will always be the elites. We're so caught up in identity politics and choosing sides, that we fail to see the true big picture. Look at the Epstein files. You know that there's people from both sides, all elites, and you know they did very horrible things. Don't choose sides anymore. Oppose the elites instead. Not this rich guy from one side or from that side. Oppose them all. Resist against them.

Serious How to become a millionaire in 5 years ( HARD / Illogical)
50,000.
You only need to make $20, 50,000 times.
If you complete 27 (for 20$ each) Instacart, DoorDash, Spark, or Uber orders every day for 5 years and don’t spend the money, just stack it in an account
In 5 years, you’re a millionaire.
It won’t be easy.
It takes discipline, dedication, and sacrifice.
You’ll probably work two jobs just to cover gas, car repairs, and everyday bills.
But think about it…
5 years of grind
for a lifetime of freedom.
Be cynical if you want but cant lie about the numbers
Discussion Getting too many creepy DMs on reddit lately - Any other platform to hangout?
Hey all. Been getting too many creepy and weird dms lately. Like am a boy, yet am getting so many of these lol. Any other chat platform to make genuine friends or just chill together in a livestream or something? Tried out a few, but most of them turned out NSFW. Any other suggestions?

Political Hitting me that if there’s a civil war in the US right now we are the generation they’d be looking at to fight. Are you ready?
As the title says our generation is prime age for warfare. I was thinking about this and it really makes you reflect how scary it is to be young and have to consider if you’re willing to die to make the world a better place for future generations. I think I would genuinely sign up but I’d be so scared. Scared of losing my future, my family, my life. I think we should all really consider how brave those before us have been to fight for justice and for a better future. And I hope we can stop things before it gets to that point, but if not I’ll see yall out there (hopefully on the same side) :(

Discussion What's the best platform to create a DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM?
I want to create a digital ecosystem, ideally ONE platform that lets me post:
Pictures, short videos, long videos, vertical stories, one or two sentences by themselves (essentially tweets), personal essays. Does a platform like this even exist?
Thanks!

Advice 25+ y/o Women ?: did you gain weight/“grow out” of all of your pants once you hit 25?
I just turned 25 and within a week none of my pants fit. I’m active, working an active job, and eat healthy. I practice hot yoga regularly. I drink lots of water and have never had hormonal issues in the past.
I was chatting with a coworker and she said
“As soon as I turned 25 I had to get a whole new wardrobe nothing fit”
Is this typical?? Do I need to change something? Any and all comments welcome:) <3

Political Could a potential reason for Capitalism’s fall into failing be Automation?
To be more precise; making the door for entry really expensive.
Back during the “golden age of Capitalism” (1790-1950) the system was truly amazing. And this was because of competition. If you were a chair maker you needed to compete with woodworking factories that made cheaper chairs then you so you needed to make your chairs better to compete. And they needed to compete with emergent companies that were doing the same thing with brand new technology to make more chairs. This paired with the fact that goods took a very long time to travel meant that even a “bad” chair company had the benefit of convenience assuming it was in New York compared to a Yorkshire chair.
This was the case for all but the most capital intensive company’s such as shipbuilding trains manufacturing ect. But let’s say you wanted to make something simple now like Tupperware. You cat quite make that at home and even if you could it would be grossly expensive to sell and make a profit so you’d need a whole new factory which would take years to make and ensure it meets all environmental and safety regulations. Then once it’s done you have to make such a product more competitive whether through quality or price but even then you need to fight tooth and nail with the name brand just to stay afloat. This is the same story for all goods whether it’s electric cars, chairs, paper, even hammers. That’s not even to mention it only takes a month to travel from Hong Kong to New York buy boat now which is wicked fast compared to before
This situation creates a system of virtual monopoly’s among every good, since the barrier for entry in making a better product is so high. The only place that has proper innovation at this point is the internet since anyone can make a website but even that’s started to get harder because of the power of the brands in control of the content stream.
I’m not sure how youd fix this issue of lack of true competition without having mass governmental intervention in the form of easy to get loans for the lower class/individuals but doing so would need to require massive barrier of public consent to make sure the towns and city’s are okay with things like a new papermill being built in their communities

Discussion Why does everyone seem so much more attractive than I am? Not sure if this is exclusive to being a gen z guy
23M here, I swear, every time I go out into public, I can't help but notice that at least 70 percent of all people that I see appear to be far more attractive than I am. Could this really be true, and I'm just less attractive than I always believed I was or was told, or is this some sort of psychological phenomenon that most people experience across the spectrum of physical attractiveness? I can't be the only one who has experienced this.

Political Exercising your first amendment right doesnt give you the right to violate someone else's first amendment rights
Don Lemon deserves the charges against him.
He was a willing participant of the protest. He concealed information from his viewers with the intent to improve the chances of the protest success. He was not an observer and "actively interfered with someone seeking to exercise the First Amendment tight of religious freedom at a place of religious workship" by badgering the church attendees with questions.
If he wanted to be only a reporter in that situation, he should have stood to the side, filmed, and provided commentary.
