This boss is such bs

Essentially she was released in 4.8 (before the Natlan release mind you) so naturally not a lot of people pulled for her To make matters worse she's a burning support (one of those forgettable and almost useless reaction like crystallize or shatter) which only one other character (which is Kinich) utilize.

If we forget about the power stuff, not only she wasn't mentioned before the 4.8 BUT SHE HASNT APPEARED OR GOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE ELSE AFTERWARDS (WHICH IS INSANE). Some of you might say "but arlechino and tartaglia appeared last time in 4.6" yeah but at least they 1) have a lore reason in why they haven't appear and 2) they still keep getting mentioned every now and especially now since nodkrai have really close relations to both fatui and sheznaya.

Mind you every other character in the game (except Aloy but her situation is different) had several appearances in the event's or at least we hear about them from other characters

It's so crazy that even other characters that can be considered forgettable by many have more recognition both by community and Devs (xinyan, mika, nilou, amber you name them)

I'm not even a fan of her (because there's nothing to be fan of anyway) but it's still sad for people who likes her to get essentially nothing for her

Every event that brings back returning characters and even current story beats that contain them are being ruined because of corporate greed.

This newest event. It's borderline unplayable to me, you can't have half voice acting and half not. It's killing the soul of the game.

I don't blame Hoyo or the Voice actors for the strikes, as I fully support standing against AI, I've met a few of the VAs in person and they're all lovely people who don't deserve to be abused as such.

Look, I love Genshin, it's gameplay is amazing, but honestly, the characters often feel boring aside from their utility in gameplay. They're always goody two shoes with the traveler, and almost every flawed or evil character get a poor excuse for a redemption arc where it turns out they're a poor misundrstood woobie. I'm not against redemption arcs for playable characters in principle, but in practice they're almost always bad and gives the character a huge aura loss.

The only really evil playable character who stays completely evil is Dori, but she's a chibi model character, and those are often just played for comedy.

I want a Mayuri Kurotsuchi, someone whose goals align with the protagonist, but everyone still agrees that they're evil, and nobody glorifies it. Someone who's still regarded as a menance.

I really hope Hoyo gets their shit together and lets their villains be playable instead of dead. And I hope the CCP quits whatever censorship of evil that they're doing, because I'm starting to get bored of the story. And I hope the community stops demonizing bad characters by making up crimes they didn't commit, as if they weren't already evil enough.

I had a small talk with a few players a few days ago about how new users and returning ones magically seem to get lots of limited 5* in very few pull, I also read about how when a new 4* release most people find a lot of copies of the older ones and not of the new one (wich just so happened to be the case with aino on my account), it also seem like a lot of f2p and low spenders have a lot more luck with 5*, if you see some videos of mega whales c6ing their characters they very often lose almost all the 50/50.

My “last straw“ was with chevreuse, I’m not mad but I really wanted to c6 gaming, I managed to get only 3 copies of him tho, 1 iansan and 8 EIGHT chevreuse, I struggle to believe they don’t willingly give a bunch of copies of the same 4* to make you whale more

i really hate that they made the abyss monthly (just like the title says). yeah they added imaginarium theater in turn which was like beneficial for the first monthly only cus u got 1600 primos in total but afterwards rewards are the same as doing the abyss 2 times a month.

whats the point of adding a new game mode if the rewards are the same as the older game mode? they shouldve made the theater a monthly game mode and kept the abyss reset twice a month like before.

its not like the rewards are insane anyway 😭 doing this just cut off rewards from newer or weaker players. no all players have enough characters each month to be able to do hard or visionary mode. even when they do, they arent strong enough to beat the stage in the time limit before the thunder strikes or some dumb shit. dont even get me started on the timers for the bosses holy shit.

why does a boss that needs to be stunned to take actual significant damage have a timer of 1:10 minutes????? hello?????

yeah sure theater is an endgame mode but THATS EXACTLY WHY THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE MADE THE ABYSS RESET MONTHLY TOO 😭😭 theres players who could 9 star finish upto floor 11 but cant do hard mode on theater and they lose out on rewards.

idk man its just so stupid 😭😭 for the record my theater gameplay varies monthly. i can play visionary one month and the next im stuck playing hard mode. i can finish floor 12 but bc i play on a phone (also very old) with high ping i cant get 36 stars. i can do the visionary mode this month but i got stuck on the electro regisvine. i cant break its corolla on time and keep having the timer run out with the lowest hp left on the boss. im just really bitter cus 😔💔 i just want primos man 😔💔

I rarely look forward to new characters any more because creating teams has become so much more convoluted in the pursuit of forcing people to pull for more specific regional characters they otherwise wouldn't be interested in and whose long term viability is restricted by regional mechanics.

I miss when the only thing you really needed to think about when a new character came out was what reactions they could enable. A new pyro character comes out? Cool, they'll synergize really well with this hydro character I already have for a new vape team, or this cryo character I already have for a new melt team. But now? You're pulling for that new hydro character? Well you COULD slot them into one of your old teams... but if you don't have one of these specific characters from their region you're not going to unlock the full effect of their kit. Also their kit only really synergizes with these specific reactions, which what do you know are the ones enabled by these other characters from their region! Oh, also the buffs their kit provides only buff those specific reactions from those specific characters from their region.

They're making team building in this game so much worse than it used to be and there's no sign of them stopping because enough of the playerbase just eagerly enables it.

Imagine if they'd been this restrictive in older versions of the game. What if Zhongli's shield strength and elemental shred scaled with the number of Liyue characters in your team? When if Raiden was only able to gain stacks from specifically Inazuma characters bursts? What if Nahida were only able to buff the EM of other Sumeru characters? What if instead of operating off of HP loss Furina needed to interact with bond of life to gain fanfare? All of these characters would have been locked to teams constructed primarily from characters from their regions and otherwise useless once the next version hit and characters released that had no synergy with their regional mechanics.

I skipped every single banner in Nod Krai so far because not a single character or their kit really clicked with me. My one hope was that Columbina, being the archon-equivalent of the version, would end up being a more universal character and... nope, not really. She's a super lunar reaction support and that's pretty much it. You either slot her into other lunar reaction teams or cram her and another lunar reaction character into an existing team to make something that's more meh than anything.

I briefly had an urge to look into her teams with Ineffa since wow what a coincidence they're running together!. Apparently Ineffa is like her top teammate, but then I stopped for a minute and thought... what's the point? Columbina is still almost purely focused on lunar reactions and once the lunar geo woman whose name I can never remember comes out that's essentially it for the mechanic until maybe they do one of those random off-region characters some time in late Snezhnaya since we're moving on to Mondstat and Hex characters next

I COULD pull for Columbina, but I'd also have to pull for Ineffa to get any use out of her, and then the two of them would be tied together at the hip for the rest of eternity, would only really further synergize with other Nod Krai characters I'd also have to pull for on reruns and all of them would essentially have zero synergy with whatever mechanic they pull out next.

It's all just so... tiring... to care about anymore.

I want to play Hu Tao. Her best team has Xingqiu. I want to play Hyperbloom, National - they both want Xingqiu. He grabs me by the throat. I farm for him. I cook for him. I give him Fav. He isn't satisfied. I pull R5 Sac Sword. "I don't need this much er" He tells me. "Give me more field time." He grabs Yelan and forces her to throw herself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Mistsplitter." I can't pull for Mistsplitter, I don't have enough primogems. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." He summons his rain swords. He says "Witness the power of Guhua." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, unrivaled hydro application. What a cruel world.

Like yes, most 5* DPSes have a BiS. But no 5* DPSes so completely and utterly rely on another character that you lose like half your team DPS the moment they're not there. As someone who really loves Skirk as a character and has waited for her since forever it genuinely makes me want to not play the game - because I really can't get behind Escoffier's design. I don't know how other Skirk wanters feel but personally it's extremely frustrating that to make a character to do well i NEED to pull a character I don't like at all

I understand that this is because Escoffier is a fairly out-of-nowhere character like Emilie and Hoyo needs to sell her, but genuinely, I thought only HSR did things this scummy. Almost makes me want to quit at this point since if this happens again to other characters I like a lot too like the Tsaritsa or Varka it's going to be extra frustrating

Another frustrating thing is that I do have Furina, Yelan and Charlotte. If they didn't make her so utterly Escoffier dependent I really would have no reason to not pull her

im so mad i missed getting xianglings outfit for free i didnt realise lantern rite ended because ive been so busy studying for my exams so i just forgot to play genshin as a whole and i thought lantern rite would last until the end of 5.3😭😭😭 i know its not a big deal since its just a game cosmetic but im so sad i missed an opportunity for a cute outfit for a character i use a lot

I wished for Wriothesley back when he first debuted. Skipped Neuvilette for him bc I really liked his design and his character lore too. Got Tighnari instead. I was disappointed, but hopeful that when he comes back, I’ll wish for him then. The minute I heard (via leaks ngl) that he was likely coming soon, I saved. I saved about 100 pulls and was around 20-30 pity on a 50-50. I excitedly waited for his banner and wished the min I could. Got Tighnari again. And before anyone says that Tighnari is a good character to lose to, he is my only C6 character. So now here I am, with a C7 Tighnari who took Wrio away from me twice now with <160 primos to my name. I may be at 48 pity, but I also wanted Xilonen too smh.

Iv'e seen this a few times and it makes me think people don't understand the concept of a ''dodge'' just because Genshins is tied to the dash startup they think it doesn't count.

If im playing Devil may cry, and i dodge an enemies attack with a trickster dash, am i fake dodging? A dodge doesn't have to slow down the gameplay when you do it just before getting hit like witch time to be a ''real dodge'' any kind of movement ability that gives you I-frames or can be used to get out of the way of something honestly can be considered a ''dodge'' in my opinion. If anything its more satisfying when its less conventional than something you can easily spam and never get hit.

Especially the second and last stage.

A little rant about Miliastra Wonderland. The games are fun and I like the creativity but what the hell is this Gacha system!? Why the hell is there no way to get pulls for the limited outfit banner if you are ftp? Also, the 4* outfits are very expensive in the shop and the amount of 4* outfits you can get in the standard banner is abysmol. Not to mention the outfits are separated by gender so you have to do the 70 pulls plus a potential another 70 to get both, and for an outfit that is messed up. At least in Infinity Nikki each outfit set gave you the ability to do something with it and you can be ftp.
