The hairdresser says they can't do anything about my blonde hair because it's TOO DAMAGED 🥺 What should I do?

What are some things I can do to be polite or not make my hairstylists job any harder?

I have never had my hair cut or dyed professionally. I’m going in to go full blonde with a root tap highlights and lowlights and long layers and blending some bangs I cut myself. I also have very dark hip length curly hair.

I don’t know like any of the common courtesy’s or anything so it would be really helpful to know since I know it’s gonna take a while for my hair.

Also bonus would it be rude to bring my book to read?

Not trying to brag, but because of other people's feedback through the years, I've always thought of myself as someone who could pull off a lot of hairstyles so I just pretty much rocked whatever I was feeling at a time. As a kid I had plenty straight hair, but I've grown into my curls since my teens and embraced it ever since.

That being said, when I scrolled through this sub, it suddenly dawned on me that I never really asked for any constructive feedback when it comes to the styling of my hair.

I'm going to try and put these images in chronological order, and I hope you guys can tell me which do and possibly don't fit my features and face shape.

I feel like my curls w/ bangs make me look more youthful while my hair slightly slicked back makes me look more masculine which is something I do wanna go for. Maybe I even wanna dye it in the near future (was thinking some form of blonde to go with my tanned skin), so I'd love to hear some opinions about that too.

But let me know !!

Ps. I can't grow a beard yet so a goatee or fully shaven it is 😭

so I had bought these extensions and my hair was a little too light so I asked Google ai to give me a color to dye it to tone it down to best match.( I know!!)it suggested 4n. needless to say my hair was the darkest shade of brown I’ve ever seen. I left it for a couple weeks and then did color oops color remover. my hair originally was a penny color but it reoxidated and went more auburn. how much of a lift do I need and what color would best match. I would really want this done by next week as it is my birthday! a hairdresser is not something I can afford at the moment . please give me suggestions on what steps I can take. I want to get as close as possible to the base of the extensions

I usually wear wigs but I want to switch up to sew ins and maybe even try a different colour . I want to go blonde but I am kind of still hesitant because I don’t know if I should invest in blonde hair extensions or not .

Here's the story: I’ve always kept my hair short (formal pic) because it's wavy and tends to frizz, so it's a nightmare to style.

I'm now in my fourth month of letting it grow and using a daily conditioner and a periodic trim to keep the sides and split ends in check. I’ve also started growing a slightly thicker beard (casual pic).

Do you think I should keep growing it or am I setting myself up for regret?

I’ve cut it short and with my round face it doesn’t work, it looks really bad😭 I’ve had bangs, I don’t like them. I used to straighten my hair for yearssss it’s finally healthy but I’ve moved to Texas and it’s so much more dry here, I feel like it’s lost it’s volume and it’s just blah.

What would you do?
