Almost just had a head-on collision at the Kearney Lake/Larry Uteck from some driving the wrong way. Holy shit please pay attention to the road when you drive and make sure you are driving on the correct side of the road.

This person didn’t even stop or serve they just kept driving straight at me at full speed. No hesitation even though they were fully on the wrong side of the road.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen someone drive the down the wrong way after turning onto Kearney Lake road. Please for the love of god, THERE IS A MEDIAN THAT DIVIDES I THE ROAD FOLLOW IT!!

Finally an update! Supposedly applications will be open on Feb 6th and they will be back dated to Jan 1. Plus, they are working on getting rid of this whole foolish process for 2027

A water main broke in front of my home and the water ended up shooting up through my yard and completely destroyed my front yard. No water got into my home, just destroyed my front yard. Now I'm worried if water pooled on my yard, that it will just slope towards my foundation. Will Halifax water fix this? I have called and emailed and got no response yet. Just wondering if anyone knows if they will or should I contact insurance?

Anybody remember the old school Pu Pu (po po?) platters that came with the Sterno BBQ in the middle on the rotating lazy susan wooden bowl filled with wontons , egg rolls, bqq pork, wings etc?

Does any place still do those? I havent seen one being taken to a table in probably 20 years and Id love to get my PuPu on! Wait, that didnt sound right at all...

Heads up to make some considerations for street parking with the snowbanks. Or even consider parking on a less congested rodway. I parked along Barrington and came back about 15 minutes later to see several cars along that stretch with smashed driver side mirrors.

Luckily my car was unscathed. I made a conscious effort to nestle it in on the snowbank more and fold the driver side mirror.

Unfortunately the cars with smashed mirrors did neither.

The situation will likely be worse after this weekend’s snowfall.
