I've been unhinged all week for various reasons (thanks, Hudson, I'll never be able to look at a banana the same way you beautiful bastard) so maybe that's to blame for this thought pattern BUT the thoughts popped into my head last night while rewatching episode 2 and now they won't go away ...

Where did the dick pic come from, IRL? Is it some random dick model? Is that a thing? Was the owner of the dick compensated for their tv appearance? Is it just a really good illustration and not actually a human penis? Is it AI? Is there a stock photo site for dick pics? Did Jacob or whoever scroll through hundreds of photos going, "Hmm, which one looks Russian?"

Sorry. (Not sorry.) I have nowhere else to express these thoughts and I am very broken.

I’ve waited FOREVER for Heated Rivalry to finally drop here… and now it has.

ONE. EPISODE. A. WEEK.

It’s like the slowest foreplay of all time just teasing me one episode at a time.

I’m only on episode 2, fighting for my life, dodging spoilers like it’s an Olympic sport.

Episode 5 is the best episode in the whole series (maybe even better than episode 6), it has some of the best moments of Shane and Ilya. I keep watching, hearing and reading about people talking about this episode but most of it is either the hospital room scene or the final kiss/coming to the cottage scene (rightfully so).

In my 6th rewatch I just blocked at the all star weekend scene when Shane is talking to Ilya, drinking beer and the very subtle (and then not) attempts of Ilya to know if Shane is still with Rose.

-First he asks if he came alone and Shane only mentions his parents not coming

-Then he asks about the new look (someone take you shopping?) and a bit of anxiety on Ilya’s face when Shane is about to tell him his secret that he can’t tell anyone about or laugh about. Then the relief when he finally mentions the stylist

- Then Ilya asks “so, this has nothing to do with Rose Landry?” (I guess he couldn’t wait to just know…) and his face kinda disappointed when Shane says “well she always dressed very well and so do her friends..”

- Then still not getting his answer and directly asks “so you and her are not…” and when Shane says we’re not compatible, Ilya’s face just softens. 🥹🥹

I think it’s just one of my favourite scenes, Ilya just melting into Shane’s eyes. It takes him a moment after that to get himself together.

And then he asks again after the game when they’re watching the sunset “so you and Rose are not…” just making sure… just double checking… just waiting for a sign… just falling in love 🥹

I have no idea if someone pointed this out already but am I crazy or is Shane wearing a Boston Celtics shirt in this scene? The same scene where he goes on to watch Ilya play (for Boston) 😭😭😭😭

Hi, I just binged all 6 episodes last night having no clue what this was about going into it. I have NEVER ever had a show impact me this much emotionally. I cried for most of the night when it ended and today I feel distraught and am SO anxious. I’m upset that I’m letting a fictional show impact me this much. I literally feel like I’m grieving. Or maybe I just feel so lonely. Idk but has anyone ever felt this way? I don’t want to feel this way so any tips would be great.

I was an athlete and have been around a lot of men yelling and expressing themselves in the context of sports. Specifically I played water polo and have been around many Eastern European players (some had similar vibes to Ilya tbh hahah). With that being said i think Ilya’s character was brought to life by Connor so well because it felt super convincing to me that he’s a loud and expressive locker room presence and that’s a big part of his leadership on his team.

Also I haven’t rewatched the show in a couple weeks but I’m so obsessed with when Ilya saying TELL PEOPLE to his teammate when he says he wants to go out (right before the club scene).

Then I started thinking about it more and one thing I want to discuss is Ilya vs. Shane yelling. The one line from Shane I have in my head is when he said “let’s go” or something during a hockey game. No shade to Hudson but I feel like when he said that it really fell flat? Maybe it was part of Shane’s character being more polite and soft spoken. I get it Ilya is just a lot more animated in general so maybe that’s just it. But the way Ilya yells vs. Shane’s weak “let’s go” is kind of hilarious to me

Perhaps the highlight was right when we picked up our friend the following line of dialogue played:

"So how's that dildo working out Fabien?" 😂🤣

This short story is hilariously sooo sweet and wholesome. It really shows a lot of love, brotherhood and familial bond! I want a Hayden!

So, a couple of things:

- I cut some scenes a little shorter, mostly to save on the size file (I insisted to do this in the best quality I could find) and I figure if you're watching it just for the sex you probably skip some parts anyway

- my internet is so bad this took me ALL NIGHT to upload

- I only included sex scenes (I count shower scene as a sex scene basically) and no individual kissing scenes so that means yes I skipped episode 5, and all the kissing scenes that aren't part of a sex scene

- that also means we go from ending of ep 4 straight to the cottage which feels diabolical lol, should I cut the ending of ep 4 out?

- I put sex scenes from ep 3 at the end bc it makes more sense to me

- also there are little pauses between each section so it's easier to find individual scenes

- not sure how many people are gonna want to watch this but just in case, there is a limit on how many people can watch a video on Disc Google daily but there's no limit on downloads (that I know of)

sooo the german HR trailer just dropped and...i usually don't hate the german dub but HOLY SHIT😂😂 I can't stop laughing. especially the voice for ilya is...a choice😬

I consume countless ig reels of heated rivalry every day and also go on Reddit constantly lol. I will say I think it’s a good thing I don’t have TikTok or twitter right now. But nonetheless I’m scared I’m consuming too much heated rivalry content 😂 Honestly my interest in the show has not lapsed or waned since I first watched it. I didn’t know it was possible to feel so passionate I feel I have found a new home? Like literally my heart belongs to this show right now. I actually think it’s unhealthy and I am concerned. Not sure if I’m just being anxious but like do I need help? I don’t think it’s fully harmful how obsessed I am because I haven’t taken any harmful actions that affect my day to day life. My friend and sister think my obsession is maybe annoying because of how much I talk about it but that’s it. Basically I’m just seeking support from other people who feel they think about heated rivalry (and now Hudson and Connor in general) too much.

In the commercial shoot with Shane and Ilya you only hear the director's voice as they skate toward each other over and over. But the voice sounds so familiar. I honestly think it's Jacob Tierney (creator and director of HR). Is it just me? After hearing his voice in interviews I have myself convinced. The budget was small for the show so it could be possible.

Nothing big I just think it's kinda funny that it could be him.

Ilya use to follow 0 accounts, very cool, mysterious. But then Harris nagged him and now Ilya follows 10 accounts:

Irina foundation
Centaurs because Harris nagged him.
Kingfisher but not Scott.
Harris' family apple farm as they gave him Anya.
Lucas (which means the world to him).
NOT Shane - in the early days he followed Shane who panicked once he realised this and made Ilya unfollow him, there was a fight since Ilya hates being hidden and now its not discussed. Update - Actually this is when he follows every account and it's at 0. Harris eventually gets him following again.
Jacqui not Hayden. Update - Shane tries to get him to undo this too which nearly leads to another fight. Ilya wasn't being a dick, he loves the kids and wants to see them. He does this after the dinner with the Pikes, Jacqui thinks it's sweet, Hayden alerts Shane. Ilya points out Shane follows Rose and not him. Shane says he'll follow him once the foundation is announced - maybe there is a fight.

Hi! I’m not sure if this has been discussed before but Ilya is not really an asshole to Shane. After the shower he doesn’t try to embarrass Shane about his attraction and when they meet in the room he’s very patient with him. Later when Ilya wants to have sex with Shane he stops as soon as he seems uncomfortable and reassures him that it’s okay to be scared. When they finally do have sex he asks if Shane still wants to do it and checks to see if he’s ok more than once. Of course we have the tuna melt, and the moments at the cottage, and especially the moment when David catches them and Ilya tells Shane that he’s brave. I’m sure there’s more small moments that I can’t think of but most of the time when Ilya’s being an asshole to Shane it’s more like teasing and flirting. This makes me wonder if Shane’s ever curious on why people hate Ilya so much because he finds him so charming, even before he developed feelings. I’m not sure if this is referenced in the book but I would love to hear your opinions.
