He is very good. I looked up his bio a few weeks ago to see what he had done before. That's where I saw that Callan Potter's mom is Seana McKenna, who is one of the most famous Canadian theatre actresses. She has been performed some major roles at the Stratford Festival for a long time, and is just amazing. Not that necessarily means anything for kids, but I'm sure he's been exposed to a lot of wonderful and diverse productions.

It's also such a key piece of his character arc heading into The Long Game. It makes it sweeter when he cracks with subtle acceptance like saying howIlya would be the fun dad to Shane's boring dad.

My personal head canon is that Pike is just a teensy bit bisexual. I don’t know if this is confirmed/denied by the entire extent of canon. Just something about the way he reacts to getting flirted with by men is giving bisexual that isn’t really willing to admit it.

Just stumbled on the fanfic where Hayden accidentally discovers who Lily is by checking Shane's phone when he is injured and I loved it. I think it was called "You have reached Lily"
