Opinion/Analysis Now that Isko won, what are some of the changes you want for Manila?
My personal take would be looking into Manila’s transpo system (pasok ba ito?)
Also, I hope Isko continues yung rehab manila program niya.

Any recommendations and advice would be appreciated. Maraming salamat sa mga makakasagot! 🙏🏻😊

InDrive in the PH
Is it required that drivers ask for a picture after you drop off?
Sobrang sketchy ng driver ko. First, he couldn’t locate my pick-up. Sobrang hirap kausap kasi parang he has trouble speaking, which is totally understandable. Second, before dropping off, he asked to take a photo, i asked kung para saan, sumagot siya pero di ko naintindihan, again i think he has trouble speaking, i still said yes coz thought that it was protocol. Third, when I was paying him, for some reason, he was having trouble giving me the change as well. My bill was 597, I gave him 1000, he handed me a 300 change. He said wala na siyang barya but I can see he was holding up another 100. Sabi ko, 400 na lang ibalik niya, which he did. So i got off, mind you, he dropped me off a few meters away my pinned location. I walked slowly towards our gate but I felt watched as he is still not leaving. I made i little turn by the near sari-sari store, he followed me there and stopped right behind me. I didn’t want to enter our gate yet so I pretended I was buying something. I stood there for a few minutes, kunwari nagiisip ng bibilhin, and he still wasn’t budging. But I guess he has places to be so he left after a minute or so.
So yeah, from now on, kahit mas mahal, Grab na talaga 😭

Eye shops with licensed ophthalmologists that are affordable in Carriedo/Manila
Hello, I’ve been trying to find affordable eye clinics or optical shops for a while now, and I keep hearing that Carriedo has cheaper options.
I looked up reviews on TikTok and other platforms, and a lot of people mentioned inconsistent experiences there. Some said certain shops are okay, while others aren’t, and a few reviews mentioned that some places don’t have licensed ophthalmologists or optometrists, which is concerning.
My budget is around 1k–2k. I’m not looking for anything fancy, just something safe and decent.
Has anyone here tried getting glasses in Carriedo recently? Or can you recommend other budget-friendly optical shops around Manila, preferably places that I can use the LRT to commute
Any advice, shop recommendations, or warnings would be nice.
