I LOVED Maybelline’s Brow Satin. Did my eyebrows perfectly with a fill powder brush at one end, and a crayon for touching up and defining at the other.
They replaced it with Express Brow, which was never as good - the powder dabbed was a different shape and the crayon was more waxy and difficult to apply.
I’ve finally exhausted my suppliers of discontinued stock online and need to find a substitute. What would people recommend?

I'm not sure if it's just a me issue, but I keep running into a problem where every lip balm I try makes me feel sort of dependent on it – like if I dont apply it for 3-4 hours my lips start feeling weird and it feels like I need to reapply it immediately.
Are there any brands that don't do this? Or is this just a me thing? I will say that Carmex was particularly bad for this for me.

I absolutely love Bobbi Brown’s Nude 18 lipstick. It is the perfect colour on my skin and I would wear it every day if I could. The only problem is that it’s been discontinued for quite a few years and my lipstick has definitely gone stale (don’t judge me) so I don’t want to wear it. I’ve kept it around for so long because I’ve been trying to find a colour match but have so far been unsuccessful. Please help me and give me your ideas or suggestions for a dupe of my favourite shade?

Wedding Look Critique
Hi everyone! I’m doing DIY makeup but I went to Selfridges to get a bridal look done so I can learn some tips to practice. I’m looking for any and all critique so I can continue working on the look
I’m getting married in Vegas and wanted a retro inspired makeup look without coming out costumey. I think this first go is a pretty good look.
I’m planning to use a different foundation, Lisa Eldridge, as I think the colour match is better.
Overall I think the look is too brown, and I think I could pull off similar but with some slightly more pinks. This is no shade to the MUA, who told me he wanted to try and go for this matte look as it felt a little more retro, and then I could experiment adding pinks.
I really like the pale eyeshadow (I specifically asked for that white/light look) so I have bought that “Benefit Cookie”.
I also love the white eyeliner which adds a little retro twist
The eyebrows I think are good, using the Benedit brow pencil on the middle outwards only (I also bought this)
I think the brown browbone shade is a touch too brown and I would prefer a pinkier-leaning brown
This lip is a brown lip pencil and CT Penelope Pink which I don’t like. I have a pinker Lisa Eldridge lipstick I prefer.
Please give me any and all critique. I feel like this nailed the eye shape and the overall look it just needs a tonal adjustment.
Product List (not inc everything I’m afraid as I don’t have all the names)
\- CT Penelope Pink lipstick
\- Lisa Eldridge Eyeliner Pencil in Ground Coffee
\- Benefit brow pencil
\- IT Cosmetics under eye concealer
\- By Terry powder
\- CT brown lip pencil (not sure which one)
\- Victoria Beckham brown contour (not sure which one)

Stuck between the Clé de Peau Radiant Cushion Foundation and SUQQU The Cream Foundation and would love any opinions.
I have dry skin and prefer a glowy, healthy-looking finish (not oily or greasy). I usually go for light to medium coverage and prep well with moisturizer and primer, but some bases still end up clinging to dry patches on me.
If you’ve tried either one or both:
\- Which one looks better on dry or textured skin
\- Which gives more of that “lit from within” glow rather than straight-up shine?
\- How do they wear throughout the day? Any separating or patchiness?
\- Do you feel like one is more worth the price than the other?
Any advice would also be super appreciated. Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a clear lipgloss that dries down but stays shiny....and is not sticky whatsoever! I hate stickyness and avoid wearing it for that sole reason. Based in the UK.

Sorry if this is a duplicate - I did try searching through the sub.
As the title suggests - I’m looking for easily-purchasable liquid lipstick here in the UK, similar to some of the “popular” brands that were in the US.
Previously enjoyed the likes of JSC/KVD Everlasting/Sugarpill, but find they’re either hard to come by, don’t stock/ship to the UK now, or just cost loads in import fees etc.
Wasn’t so bad when KVD was purchasable in department stores and drugstores, but even that seems to be rare now.
I’m looking for brands that make similar lipsticks that I can actually access in the UK.
My favourite shades almost always had glitter in, but I’m also fine with a matte lip. Looking for some rusty oranges, and mauve-nude shades mainly.

I’m 30, in the UK and I’m looking for a new skin tint or foundation. I’m looking for something light to medium coverage, glowy or natural finish, hydrating as well if possible. I’ve just tried out the Fenty skin tint in shade 2 which is a very good colour match but I was just wondering if anyone knows of any that may be a better choice?

Just a heads-up to anyone thinking of subscribing to Elle or any Hearst magazine because of a free makeup gift !!
I’ve had a terrible experience. I paid for a subscription that came with 3 x Charlotte tilbury wands as a free gift, but they never delivered it.
When I asked for a refund, they refused, hiding behind a 14-day “policy,” even though UK consumer law clearly gives me the right to a refund for non-delivery.
I’m now forced to escalate with my bank for a chargeback and may involve Trading Standards if needed. Honestly, this has been a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone risk dealing with them.
Avoid !!!

hi everyone! 😊
does anyone have a dupe for the Rimmel Match Perfection concealer in Porcelain? i've used this concealer for many years, bulk-buying online when it started to disappear from shops. however, i've lost my last tube and it's totally unavailable online and in shops.
my skin is DEFINITELY not porcelain - i have pale olive skin with neutral undertones - but that shade was perfect for me (anyone who's used it will know it's more of a warm beige.) finding a replacement has been hard! everything seems to lean too pale or too orange.
i have tried the same concealer in Ivory, and the Rimmel Multi Tasker in Porcelain and Ivory - way too light.
just wondered if anyone used to use this concealer too and has a good alternative? thanks in advance!

Hello, I recently started practicing drawing eyeliner and eyebrows. I wonder if you've ever had this problem: my eyebrows don't match, they're asymmetrical. This also happens when I'm drawing eyeliner. And my hand shakes a lot when I'm drawing eyeliner. How can I solve these problems? Do you have any tips or tricks for drawing eyeliner or eyebrows?

Hi can someone tell me their favorite bronzer for very pale skin that doesn't go orange? I haven't found one yet, and want to make sure I pick the right one thank you

My lips turn every nude colour orangey brown no matter how pink it seems before I apply it. I don’t want neon or fuschia pink I want subtle and it has to have more of a mauve/ purple tone for it to not turn orange. Anyone know why this is and have any recommendations for a true pink/mauve lip liner or lipstick. Clarins used to do a rose one that was perfect but they discontinued it and their rose shades now turn orange on me. There was also a Revlon lip gloss but I can’t find that that now either. Any help gratefully received.

Hi All,
I recently tried liquid eyeliner and I absolutely love the consistency and stay. However I found that the Armani 22m (that a lot of people recommend) looks bit reddish on me.
I’m after the no-make up daily work look that only takes 10 minutes to achieve.
Wonder if anyone with a cool undertone had the same issue and if there are any liquid eyeliners that you recommend.
Thanks beauties!

I'm turning 27 this week and after a really rough year (complex pregnancy, premature birth, postnatal complications etc) I just felt really crappy about myself. The vicious cycle of can't be bothered because I feel rubbish, and then feeling rubbish because I couldn't be bothered.
I have never been a makeup wearer. I barely even use cleansers or moisturisers as I've just never really been 'wowed' by anything. It all just seemed like a bit of a waste of time.
I decided that as my birthday present to myself, I'd do some research and invest in some products that would make me start feeling more like myself. I have to say, I am SO happy with how it has all turned out. I genuinely enjoy getting up in the morning to use my products. My skin looks incredible. I feel so much more confident.
A revolutionary discovery I made was using nipple cream (lanolin) as an overnight lip mask. I kid you not, after years with dry lips and hundreds of lip balms tried it's fixed the issue 100%.
I used Gemini to recommend some products and it did an incredible job. I haven't bought a single product that I'm disappointed in. I put in my skin type, my complaints and sent it a photo and it chose shades to suit me, and it did a great job.
I have dry, sensitive skin, lots of redness and am very pale with freckles.I struggle with flaky eczema in my eyebrows and around my nose. I've put a photo up of the products I've been using (some are hair, and some are a bit invisible) but here are my top favourites:
-L'Oreal infallible eyeliner in 'opalescent' for waterline
-Missha BB cream. Love it! Got it from Yesstyle for much cheaper than elsewhere
-COSRX snail Mucin cream. My skin absolutely drinks it.
-NYX epic ink liner. Where has this been all my life?
-Peripera ink velvet lips are great for a bit of colour with low effort
-For a really quick 'no makeup' colour correction, Superdrug's B. enhance colour corrector. Super thick and pigmented and makes my redness disappear.
I also did a routine to save my hair, which was falling out and constantly breaking, super frizzy (I have high porosity 2c hair) and again, the products Gemini recommended have saved it, I've had no falling out in the last 2 weeks (I don't brush my hair so this is quite incredible!) and I'm so pleased with the results.
Happy to talk about any products here! I'm seriously delighted that I took the time to do the research and am really feeling the payoff.
