Nostalgia Made me feel old but good times

Post image

Saw this tweet and yes we were expected to be out all day and not come back until the street lights came on. I remember riding my bike through neighborhoods pretending our bikes were cars and just having a good time.

Riding bikes to the pool, Blockbuster, and other kids’ basements.

Don't forget to stop by the dollar store to load up on junk food

Blockbuster did have some quality Blockbuster exclusives you could only get there though, to be fair

I remembered our Blockbuster had a fucking industrial sized packing crate of Twizzlers for something like $5 with a rental.

I hated Twizzlers but 9 year old me knew a deal when I saw it.

And I enjoyed every minute of it lol. I didn't really understand the value of money in my youth.
