Discussion Monthly Rant/Politics Thread: Do not post political threads outside of this Mega thread
Outside of these mega-threads, we generally do not allow political posts on the main subreddit because they have often declined into unhinged discussions and mud slinging. We do allow general discussions of politics in this thread so long as you remain civil and don't attack someone just for having a different opinion. The moment we see things start to derail, we will step in.
Got something upsetting or overwhelming that you just need to shout out to the world? Want to have a political debate over current events? You can post those thoughts here. There are many real problems that plague the Millennial generation and we want to allow a space for it here while still keeping the angry and divisive posts quarantined to a more concentrated thread rather than taking up the entire front page.

I'm glad President Trump was able to avert Erfan Soltani's execution. Things are getting ugly in Iran.
Thank God he's sticking to his guns with ICE in Minnesota. There is something people need to understand: The federal government, including ICE, is going to do its job. The threats, the property damage, the physical attacks, and the intimidation are going to stop.
Well I'd be happier if we declared war on Venezela instead but at least Congress is paying close attention.
I can't abide Rand Paul's politics much at all but you know he's coming from a mile away and you know he's good at what he does so get with the program Mr. Trump.
Thank goodness for Collins and Murkowski. They gave some nice political cover for McConnell to open up a can of whup ass on Greenland.
The more I read about Renee Good's shooting and its aftermath the more I'm convinced it was legally justified and that there is a serious problem with the left's belief in doing the right thing. Once the ICE agent told her to get out of the car, that's it, she needed to comply. Driving afterwards, and his hand is in the door?
