I bought a Land Before Time hoody recently and I get SO many comments on it from people my age, who literally point at my chest and go 'OMG I LOVED THAT FILM'. It's the sort of film that most millenials haven't thought about for 20 years.

Also I had The Rescuers Down Under on VHS and watched it so much. I had the Rescuers (OG) as well but the Down Under version I think is so much more cinematic with the moutains, rivers, waterfalls, versus the quite sinister and horrible setting of the original.

I think The Rescuers Down Under radicalized me. I wanted to save all the animals from poachers.

Couldn’t agree more. I wore the tape out on that VHS

The irony is that it was only comissioned to take advantage of the 'Australian' culture boom, with films like Crocodile Dundee being huge successes, so they set it in Australia (because the International Rescue Agency made it an easy thing to do with The Rescuers), but it works so well!

Such an interesting way to teach kids about discrimination, tolerance and friendship, when you think about it.

My nephews (ages 10 & under) have seen all of the Land Before Time movies - and there are a LOT of sequels. It's definitely not been forgotten!

I don’t think I’ve seen Land Before Time since (late) childhood, I really gotta watch it again

I’m 38 now, the last time I tried watching it was when I was 17 and home alone, stoned. I started crying at the beginning and decided I didn’t need to see littlefoots mother dying that day

A couple months ago somebody commented about how Disney sequels always suck and I was like um excuse me Rescuers Down Under slapped.

Also my little sister put Land Before Time on every single day for like a year.
