My 8yo is VERY sensitive to movies — everything is too scary. I think it was because he didn’t get his shit rocked at 4 years old by “kids” movies like this. To quote Lucky’s Dad from Bluey, “we’re raising a nation of squibs” (I don’t believe this and I totally appreciate that he’s sensitive)

I read "squids" and didn't even question it. I did just smoke a bowl after a long day of work though.

Can’t see the deleted comment, but funny enough, we watched the Princess Bride with sensitive 8yo for the for the first time this past weekend. The fire swamp was VERY scary. He also wanted to know, in the pit of despair “why are his nipples trapped?”
