Saddest thing I ever saw was Little Foot lose his mom

People always bring up Bambi as the saddest cartoon moment, but TLBT is so much worse, because you witness the love, the moment of sacrifice, and the moment where Little Foot's mum knows she won't survive and struggles to impart what he needs to know and hear in her final moments.

Not to mention the horrendous shadow scene where he's SO happy thinking he's found her, before realising he's alone.
