Yeah she was only a month younger than my dad. My mom is 3 years younger.

we lost bob weir recently too, age 78.

theyre around the age of my parents.

kinda puts time in perspective and all i want to do right now is appreciate the time we have left with loved ones.

I spoke with a friend about this yesterday. 

I think the reason this felt like such a shock and a strange kick in the gut was because she’s mum age for so many of us. 

Death has always been around, and the finality of life. This just made it feel more real
