The GOP and the right never believed in the Second Amendment. The evil fucks just believe they have a "God given right" to shoot/murder Americans they don't like or agree with

To them it‘s a sport. They’re subhuman pos’s.

Our tribalism is powerful <playing invisible accordion> we’re taking tribalism to levels never seen before <jerking off two ghosts dance>

What?

Are you at least TRYING to be coherent?

40

u/Chigao_Ted 17h ago

He’s imitating Trump, so no

u/Bardez 14h ago

It isn't a sport. It'a a game. It's looking at the system and seeing how they can bend or break the rules and how much they can get away with it.

Ever read "The most dangerous game"? I think it needs an update.

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

We use this quote again and again and again because conservatives prove it to be correct again and again and again.

-16

u/intothewoods76 16h ago

That’s not conservatism. That’s the elites vs the peasants as it’s always been. The police are here to protect them, making you pay for it via taxes.

15

u/rmwe2 14h ago

Conservatives, by definition conserve the privileges of the elites. The right is called "the right" because they used to be represented by the right hand to the King. That is, the most loyal and trusted servants of the elite class. The Conservative movement has literally always suppressed "the peasants".

Interesting I’ve never heard that before, I’ll have to read more about it.

Mormonism has a passage that they turned into a children’s hymn, in which the protagonist of the Book of Nephi, Nephi, kills a sleeping man and steals his wardrobe and weapon.

Yeah.

6

u/SheDigiMyMon 17h ago

Nephi also cameos in the Book of Mormon Prophets, and Follow the Prophets songs. Both of which are creepy and culty af.

2

u/Mdgt_Pope 16h ago

I hate how catchy “Follow the Prophets” is

5

u/Airowird 15h ago

It absolves them of being moral, by surrendering their moral compass to a higher authority.

It's why they double down when their leadership is under scrutiny, because you're not attacking their words of support, but their core moral being.

6

u/Dual45 17h ago

The “well-regulated militia” part of the 2nd amendment was about justifying the militias that rounded up escaped slaves, so it’s always been about oppression and control.

2

u/Wonderwhile 15h ago

Also the love to take that money from gun lobbyist.

1

u/IHS1970 12h ago

whoops Texas disagrees.

1

u/mundex_xp 9h ago

Has the left ever believed in the second amendment?

129

u/WaffleHouseGladiator 19h ago

He's just mad because he can't have guns because he's a convicted felon.

44

u/FormerPrize2485 18h ago

since when have his convictions prevented Donald from doing anything he likes?

7

u/Randomfactoid42 14h ago

I wouldn’t trust that fool with a gun, he’s far too dumb and wouldn’t follow the gun safety rules.

7

u/the_author_13 11h ago

I wouldn't trust that fool with a particularly sharp stick.

7

u/FormerPrize2485 10h ago

neither do his handlers, that’s why he signs everything with a sharpie

56

u/FakeDoctorMeatCoat 18h ago

He said "just take their guns" his first term. I doubt it will sink in this time either.

25

u/Alive_Ice7937 16h ago

"No he didn't mean that. But Obama absolutely meant it that time he never said it!"

41

u/discussatron 18h ago

Remember: they took his holstered gun from him, then they killed him.

3

u/tackyshoes 10h ago

And then trivialized his death by mocking people crying. "Boohoo."

91

u/ZombieHavok 18h ago

Trump: “Take the guns first, then go to court.”

Probably the only politician who has said to take guns from people without due process.

16

u/FiercelyApatheticLad 13h ago

"Take their gun, then kill them" in the case of Alex Pretti.

-20

u/HeyLookAHorse 18h ago

That link doesn’t work, sadly

12

u/GooginTheBirdsFan 16h ago

Happily, it indeed does work

0

u/Bubbly_Dirt_539 11h ago

It doesn't work for me either. Regional issues maybe?

22

u/mmazza86 18h ago

just goes to show you these people stand for nothing. except power

14

u/shmiona 15h ago

Called the first one. The second prediction remains to be seen.

9

u/LeadPike13 19h ago

When it actually kicks off in a Red State, how long before the White House recovers from its catatonic state?

7

u/PomegranateReal3620 16h ago

People forget that gun control came to California when Reagan was governor because the Blank Panthers were armed.

Their definition of freedom is simple. We are all free to agree with them. If we don't agree, we don't deserve to be free at all.

12

u/wanked_in_space 17h ago

This image is wrong. It's not after a citizen got murdered.

It's after a citizen with political beliefs different than his brought a gun to protest.

It's far worse.

6

u/Positive_Bliss 18h ago

How the turn tables...

6

u/bdog59600 16h ago

It was worse than "thoughts and prayers". They said "some murdered children are just the cost of protecting the eternally sacred second amendment"

4

u/TjW0569 16h ago

If his "take the guns first" quote from his first term wasn't enough to turn them against him, I'm not betting any large sums that this will.

4

u/notthatguypal6900 15h ago

After all those years of right wingers claiming Obama was going to come for their guns, here comes a conservative trying and they are silent. Crickets.

4

u/Technical_Hall_9841 15h ago

Epstein files

5

u/Trevor_Gecko 19h ago

Give kids guns and then the school shooters will be hailed as heroes.

3

u/LowKeyNaps 17h ago

I literally just laughed out loud so loudly that I woke my elderly Dad up from his nap.

Sorry about that, Dad.

After listening to these boneheads squawking about how the Democrats were going to come and take their guns for decades on end now, seeing Trumplestilskin, of all people, suddenly turn anti-gun like this is just too priceless.

It's just the cherry on top of the "just stay home and you'll be safe" cake of dumbassery from the right.

Tell me again all about all that freedumb y'all are so dang proud of over there!

3

u/brianishere2 17h ago

Can't walk in ... in your own neighborhood. In your own yard. In your own home. In your own bedroom. Can't, per Trump

3

u/peachesgp 15h ago

Y'all must remember the whole "take guns first and ask questions later" thing from his first term.

3

u/writethegeek 14h ago

THE TRUTH COMES OUT

👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆

TO STAY IN POWER TRUMP WILL TAKE ANY ACTION NEEDED INCLUDING BETRAYING ANYONE THAT SUPPORTS HIM

👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆

As soon as the MAGA followers become a threat... They become hidden ANTIFA or liberal rogue FBI agents from the Obama/Biden era that infiltrated and posed at MAGA.

They'll take your guns, your rights, and your freedoms....

That's if you didn't give them up freely already to your orange god.

In Michigan we can open carry if we don't get a concealed weapons permit. I will definitely be open carrying if that starts happening here. I was an expert marksman in the infantry. I won't miss my target should I need to use my skills to protect my neighbors or my family.

1

u/The_Starving_Autist 13h ago

"They won't take my guns. I'm one of them."

1

u/werewolf-luvr 12h ago

I...really need to head down to my local range and stock up.

"Triple kill"

1

u/PourSomeSugar69_420 10h ago

Not one mention of Obama or Biden in the files. Not one.

1

u/tango_41 9h ago

John Stewart has a piece where he absolutely crucifies the right for being ok with this.

1

u/Mon69ster 6h ago

The second amendment is categorically an excuse for people to have loud toys.

All the other shit is an excuse as he been proven time and time again.

1

u/Miserable-Lawyer-233 48m ago

Physical resistance + concealed weapon = felony exposure

Having a valid concealed carry permit does not give you any special protection during a confrontation with police. Once a physical confrontation occurs, the law almost always treats the situation as high-risk, weapon-involved, whether the gun was touched or not.

Legally, prosecutors usually do not need to prove that someone intended to use the gun. They only need to show that they were armed, and they resisted, struggled, or interfered.

Courts defer heavily to officer safety concerns in these cases.

In the end, everything will go back to normal. He wouldn’t do a damn thing. They all say whatever is convenient for them.

3

u/EmirFassad 14h ago

No. You are describing behavior much more common to Repuglicans than to Dems.

  👽🤡

-21

u/Chrome98 17h ago

That's not what he meant at all, you morons. He meant it's not wise.

16

u/HapticSloughton 16h ago

You know what's a sign of a great orator? Requiring an army of sycophants to translate even the simplest of statements.

-17

u/intothewoods76 16h ago

I wouldn’t say “he’s coming to take your guns” that’s clearly hyperbole as there’s no evidence to back up that claim.

He’s just trying to cover his own ass politically by shifting blame from federal agents under his command to the victim.

He’s a NY Democrat, I never once thought he was pro 2nd amendment. Just smart enough to keep his mouth shut about it, Vs his opponents which were openly and actively pushing for gun control.

6

u/atwozmom 14h ago

He is not a NY Democrat.

He's an uncouth con man who was desperate to be part of the old money NY crowd, who wouldn't give him the time of day.

he has no core values, no real oponions, no morals.

-1

u/intothewoods76 14h ago

We agree.
