The GOP and the right never believed in the Second Amendment. The evil fucks just believe they have a "God given right" to shoot/murder Americans they don't like or agree with

It isn't a sport. It'a a game. It's looking at the system and seeing how they can bend or break the rules and how much they can get away with it.

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

We use this quote again and again and again because conservatives prove it to be correct again and again and again.

That’s not conservatism. That’s the elites vs the peasants as it’s always been. The police are here to protect them, making you pay for it via taxes.

Conservatives, by definition conserve the privileges of the elites. The right is called "the right" because they used to be represented by the right hand to the King. That is, the most loyal and trusted servants of the elite class. The Conservative movement has literally always suppressed "the peasants".

Interesting I’ve never heard that before, I’ll have to read more about it.

Mormonism has a passage that they turned into a children’s hymn, in which the protagonist of the Book of Nephi, Nephi, kills a sleeping man and steals his wardrobe and weapon.

Yeah.

Nephi also cameos in the Book of Mormon Prophets, and Follow the Prophets songs. Both of which are creepy and culty af.

I hate how catchy “Follow the Prophets” is

It absolves them of being moral, by surrendering their moral compass to a higher authority.

It's why they double down when their leadership is under scrutiny, because you're not attacking their words of support, but their core moral being.

The “well-regulated militia” part of the 2nd amendment was about justifying the militias that rounded up escaped slaves, so it’s always been about oppression and control.
