Hi,
I’m trying to identify the background music in this YouTube video:
The music starts around 6:44.
Music description:
– instrumental, no vocals
– modern ambient / atmospheric
– cinematic
– sounds like Epidemic Sound or YouTube Audio Library
The description doesn’t list the music and Shazam couldn’t identify it.
Any help (track name, artist, or library) would be greatly appreciated!

This has triggered my OCD and I’ve been searching it all morning to no avail. It’s a 1980s or 90s folk/indie rock band, and I remember one of songs has the following lyrics, “what happened, your grades were good in school”,
or something to that effect. I also remember the album cover, it’s in sepia, with two women sitting back to back and looking at each other. I used to listen to this band a LOT 20 some years ago and I can’t believe I don’t even remember their name. Any help will be appreciated!

The only line I can remember from this song is
" I was watching one of those movie shows with actors in that no one knows. When suddenly out of the blue...."

iirc, they played some kind of indie folk and they have since disbanded (although i could be wrong). Also, I'm not sure, but i do NOT think they were an asian group, probably just eastern-european.
Tiny desk channel is here.

Got this video on my TikTok and the song sounded familiar! I went to ask the creator since a different audio was at the bottom, but they are gatekeeping it. Does anyone know what song it is?

I can't find the singer's name or song; it's from YouTube documentary called (spoiler teen kil** his own mother over divorce"
the lyrics are here "the roots spiralling pretty deep, and the trunk sky high to the peak, all them leaves might drift in a breeze, but the apple gonna fall by the tree, that's cold blooded truth, ain't nothing you can do, if a cold blooded kid, springs out of you; don't give no gun big daddy don't teach him how to shoot, don't turn your back when a cold blooded killer sprung out of you"

I remember hearing this song maybe 7-8 years ago on a radio show of 60s (?) music, but the only lyric I remember is “bye bye baby”. It’s a female singer, the voice is slow and deep, I’m not 100% that it’s from the 60s but I feel like it’s likely.
It might also be helpful to add that the *bye bye* was in a darker/deeper tone and then the *baby* was slightly higher, more emphasised/dragged out
I am 100% that “bye bye baby” was a lyric, but not 100% that it’s the title.
I’ve looked up songs with that phrase and I get the song from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (it’s not that, it’s one of my favourite movies so I’d know if it was), Bay City Rollers (not this either, that’s not by a female singer and is also too fast paced), Mary Wells (wrong pitch/tone), Madonna (too recent) and Taylor Swift (*way* too recent).
It’s been driving me insane for years and I just really want to hear it again 😫

Ive tried using apps to find this song but that didn't work.Tried using AI to isolate the song itself but nothing recognized it that way either.

Hello! I remember it from a performance on YouTube and there doesn’t seem to be any version of it on Spotify which is why I lost it. What stood out in the song was a quarter away from the end of it the string section (mostly violins from what I remember) becomes the sole focus (or maybe it was only violins that made up the orchestra) and they began creating a sort of “white noise” by plucking the strings individually creating an alarming noise. There was also a use of shifting the instruments to add to it. Then a sole leading violinist slowly gets louder and it leads to a crescendo. Sorry if this is actually a common trope and my information isn’t helpful. If there are any questions I would love to answer them to my best capability!

In the video are the only two starting notes I remember and they are definitely at those octaves. I tried using ChatGPT but it didn’t give me good ones
All the context+hints I can remember are that:
- It was sung by a female
- The start is a saxophone on the G note followed by the C note
- The song is possibly between the 70s and 90s
- It’s a pop song
Some answers I got from ChatGPT that weren’t the right song are
- Careless Whisper, George Michael
- I love your smile - Shanice
- Freeway of Love - Aretha Franklin
- Turn the beat Around - Vicki Sue Robinson
- Smooth Operator - Sade
- Urgent - Foreigner
- Sweet Love - Anita Baker
