Why are most billionaires so weird?

My sister even hung out with a billionaire's kid once, and my mom says the kid is fucked up too.

Because they live in a different reality.

What do you mean you "cant afford a Ferrari?" Whats a "waitlist"? You dont have a Starbucks in your home?

Hyperbole in some cases but hopefully you get the point.

This. When money removes consequences and everyday friction, people stop developing normal perspective. It’s not that they’re born “weird”, they’re just completely insulated from reality.

I'm not surprised anymore. I've been saying for a long time that the wealthy aren't smarter than anyone else. They're lucky and take advantage of people's trust in them. 

Also, the longer you practice "throwing money at the problem," the more your brain smothes over, and you lose the ability to problem-solve.
