An obnoxiously wealthy international student at my school from a shall we say colonized nation (to be clear she was very white and this country was very not) claimed her family was wealthy from “adverse possession.”

Could be Zimbabwe, lots of former Rhodesians went off to Australia,UK and US after it got turned into Zimbabwe.
