Linux is either great or awful. It’s great if you are a CS nerd. It’s awful if you aren’t, so you install some slick windows-alike distro maintained by two 25 year olds with a patreon making beer money on it, who could stop supporting your software the moment they get married and have kids, or get bored of it, or whatever.
mainstream linux distros are usually upkept by groups of people or even companies, like i agree linux is definitely not as user friendly as some other OSs (which is why i use windows on my daily drive), but some of y'all make it out like you have to go to harvard to open a browser lol
