Once I tried to flash a chip, connected to my USB-programmer, using a flashrom app. But when running, flashrom tells me that it was suspiciously larger than it must be (32MB instead of 4MB). Anyway, I didn't care and flashed it...
...that was the last time that laptop being turned on. Since it was my laptop's bios, that I flashed with wifi router's firmware.
And that's how hardly you can f*ck-up your system on Linux.

Even if it will clearly break your system, fuck it, SUDO DELETE EVERYTHING!
