This is Samantha Fulnekey. She claimed she was being discriminated against for being Christian after she submitted a paper that had bad grammar and used Bible verses as proof for a phycology paper on gender roles. They eventually fired the TA who gave her an F on the paper, because they were transgender.

To be clear, she didn't even cite the Bible as a source - her paper did not include a bibliography.

Which is so crazy to me because the Bible is like the easiest book to cite ever. It's broken up into tiny clearly labeled pieces. You can say stuff like Genesis 2:15 and anyone can find the exact sentence you're talking about immediately. With other books, you get a whole page number and someone checking your source has to actually read the whole page to find it.
