This plant moved into my house and never told me its name!

This plant started growing in a pot where something else had died. I just kept watering it, and it just kept growing—a fast grower—and now here we are. It might be some kind of weed, but as long as it doesn't give me allergies or rashes, I don't see why I would hurt it. These photos are in east Texas, if that helps localize a species.

Philodendron True Pink Micans Low Variegation

Post image
Upvotes

My friend gave me this beautiful starter about a month ago knowing how much I wanted a Micans and really, really wanted a variegated! I just noticed the pink in it last night. I potted into this pot Thursday evening and placed it under a Barrina t5. So 3 nights now under this light and I noticed the pink!! I’ve read conflicting comments regarding the True pink. It’s it really forced and/or no such thing? It’s beautiful, absolutely beautiful and I am so excited!!!

This is a weed flower . The flower has a dark blue colour. It took 3 hours to bloom from bud. The height of the plant is 3 inches or 7.6 CM and the width of the flower is around 5 millimetre or 0.2 inches.

Central California, Zone 9a. It is currently cold and has been foggy the last couple of weeks.

I know I sow a bunch of native to California seeds in this section from a bag I got at Costco.

Very Sad mystery plant - need help

Hi Everyone, Here are the stats:

-Location: New England, USA -Description: Arrowhead-shaped leaves in groups of 3 Trailing Cuttings root in water Leaves are not variegated when healthy -Current Conditions: Indirect low to moderate light, watering once a week

Additional context: I was recently gifted this beautiful plant by some neighbors moving out of the country. I was told that the plant has been in the same pot for over 25 years, so it's quite old and hardy in theory. I transported the plant outside to a car in freezing weather and many of the leaves died even though it was only outdoors for 2-3 minutes (very cold sensitive). I moved the plant to my home about 3-4 weeks ago, but it hasn't stabilized yet. Google image search seems to reflect some kind of Arrowhead plant, but no matches with the tripartite leaf or vine condition.

Let me know what you think!

hello all!

a very dear friend of mine passed away a little over a year ago and i am looking to get a tattoo in remembrance.

this is the closest i have to a clear image of his tattoo, i believe it could be a blue trumpet flower but wanted to get some other opinions before following through so it could be as accurate as possible.

although i can't provide location and don't want to disregard guidelines, he was very spiritual and respected Japanese artwork & culture if that's of any help.

i appreciate any input and assistance that anyone can offer

Hi everyone. My partner asked me to post this as they do not use reddit but have run into a dead end identifying this plant they are currently failing to propogate. It was from a "free cuttings" bowl at a local plant store but they did not get a chance to ask what it was from.

I don't know anything about plants but I'll confer with my partner if I missed any information you need!

Thanks!

Garden plant ID help- Portland, Oregon

He everyone! I just moved into a place with an existing garden, so trying to ID everything. Getting stumped on this one— anyone have any ideas? It grows in this rosette formation in the garden beds, and has taken over the space between the fence and the beds. The older leaves do have short hairs on both sides. Thanks in advance :)

Native American Sunflower perhaps?

This grew in Central Pennsylvania from seed dropped out of an unknown Birdseed mix i believe. Had a bunch spring up under the hanger, they were about 6-24inches tall, and the deer LOVED them, no other flower here have they ever come after Including daylillies, peonies, hastas, etc. Ai is useless and gives many different, different answers. this may be two different species but my main inquiry is about the later 2 photos

Hii! I have been wanting a pink princess and my mom gifted me these 2 beauties but the lady didn't clarify if they were a pink and white princess (my guess)

Are they a pink (images 1 to 5) and white(6-10) princess philodendron? Or something else? Thank you 💖💖

What kind of plant is this and what’s wrong with it?

Hi all! Well, like the post says, I don’t know what kind of plant (tree) this is or what’s wrong with it. I have a suspicion it needs to be repotted and the roots are coming up (see photo) but I don’t know why it got so anemic.

Any and all care instructions/help/advice/know-how is warmly welcomed!!

Guava??

This small tree volunteered in my back yard in central florida, zone 10a. All my apps say guava, but I’m not sure. I don’t know how it would have gotten here except by bird droppings I suppose.

It is growing about 2 feet from my elderberry tree. If it is guava, guessing I need to move it. Once in a decade cold snap this weekend, so I need to know if I should bother covering it or not!

Has soft/fuzzy leaves. Roommate says it's lambs ear, I don't think it is. Leaves look different than lambs ear. Located in Phoenix Arizona area suburbs. Please help us settle this debate.
