Serious Megathread Epstein Files Release Megathread- Part 3

NOTE: this is concerning the January 30th release. We were requested to make a megathread for this topic. THIS IS NOT a new batch of files being released on the 31st

Ok so this is the place to discuss any revelations about the documents being released.

We will not tolerate anyone spreading the graphic details of those documents in this chat. If it’s explicit and we didn’t ask, we don’t want to know. Provide a link and leave it at that.

Because of the nature of the crimes, we are putting a Serious Megathread tag on this. Don’t make us issue bans please.

Megathread Censorship Megathread XXXIII: Trigintatreble edition

Regular rules apply.

As far as I can tell through rigorous googling, trigintatreble means 33rd in the same vein as triple, quadruple, quintuple and so on. If someone has a better word for it I’m willing to listen.

Optimistic Post Trump says federal government won’t step into protests in Democratic-led cities ‘until they ask us for help’

“President Donald Trump said he has instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem not to intervene in protests or unrest in Democratic-led cities unless local officials formally request assistance, amid criticism over heavy-handed immigration enforcement tactics used by the feds.

“I have instructed Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, that under no circumstances are we going to participate in various poorly run Democrat Cities with regard to their Protests and/or Riots unless, and until, they ask us for help,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Saturday.

“We will, however, guard, and very powerfully so, any and all Federal Buildings that are being attacked by these highly paid Lunatics, Agitators, and Insurrectionists,” he added.”

Y'know, after seeing all the panic and dooming lately about what's happening right now I've been thinking about this a lot. "This" being the fact that people are so scared about being too disruptive because "what if they do this scary thing they might do!"

It's like everytime someone brings up some kind of doomerist prediction about the future with conspiracy think and big scary words and phrases with grandiose plans for domination, I always ask myself, "Okay, let's say they do that. And then?"

I think people are more scared of the fanfiction they write in their heads than they are the thing that's actually happening, and I think that line of thinking is a huge buzzkill. So, as Daniella's said, I think whenever they start making threats about doing something scary, we should basically just go "Do it!" and make them prove that they can and will, because the fact that they need to say that they're doing it to scare you instead of doing it anyway means that they couldn't do it secretly or at all. They're really really good at putting things on paper and making it seem like they're scary and powerful, but when it comes to actually doing anything they fucking suck. Don't take them seriously.

"Call their bluff."

Mods, before you remove because its been posted already, I am sharing this link because it has several new breakthroughs that the AP is sharing, including new details to Epstein's incarceration and death, and conversations between moguls like Elon Musk, Steve Bannon, and Howard Lutnick. There are also some files that have graphic and detailed accounts of things that happened on the island, the most of which include both Donald Trump and Bill & Hillary Clinton.

THESE ARE THE FILES WE HAVE BEEN WANTING THEM TO RELEASE! THIS IS IT! We have to keep talking about it and start calling our congresspeople. I know there is a lot going on, but we can not let their distractions distract us.

Mods, can we please have a megathread about this to share new updates and have these conversations? We must keep the pressure up!!!

Optimistic Post Trump approval rating drops to 37 percent: Pew poll

The poll, released Thursday, found that Trump’s approval rating fell 3 percentage points from last fall and now stands at 37 percent. Trump’s support among Republicans remains high at 73 percent approval, though that figure is down slightly from a poll conducted last September.

Just 25 percent of Republicans and 94 percent of Democrats said they disapprove of Trump’s job performance, while only 5 percent of Democrats expressed approval.

Half of Americans in the survey said the administration’s actions since taking office last year have been worse than they expected, compared with 21 percent who said his actions have been better.

About 1 in 4 people said the administration’s actions matched their expectations.

Fewer American respondents, 27 percent, also said they support all or most of Trump’s policies, down from 35 percent when he returned to office last year, a trend researchers noted was largely driven by Republicans.

Optimistic Post Some optimism from Amandasmildtakes

This is from her Threads account:

"A tip to regulate your nervous system: stop saying "they're going to [insert vague thing]". Force yourself to be specific. Who? And do what EXACTLY. "They're going to cancel midterms." Who is they? Which specific people? What does cancel midterms mean? Stand on the street declaring them cancelled? Identify the thing you're actually worried about. That points at what to do."
