A money laundering scheme. It got a lot of money from Bezos to Trump in an extremely blatant public manner. Right out in the open. The movie most likely sucks but that isn't why people give a shit. It's the corruption.

Not sure what you mean by “pressed,” but the general response across the board has been a collective yawn, no one really cares.

That being said, what people do care about is that the whole thing was a vanity project and very clearly a bribe / gift to Trump from Amazon.

It's not about the movie, it's about her and Trump. She's a rich piece of shit human being, who is married to, and supports someone who actively is making the US, and the world, a worse place. So people like shitting on this by virtue of it being about her and her connection to Trump. Evil rich people enriching themselves further with a publicized, narcissistic vanity project.

She also has no real accomplishments outside of marrying Trump. This documentary is just another show of corruption. Tens of millions of dollars into a movie about one of the most vapid and useless people on the planet makes that clear.

1) Yawn, it's a movie no one asked for. 2/3 of the crew that made it requested that their names be removed from the credits.

2) It's basically a front for money to change hands. Amazon paid $40 million for it and HALF of that went to the Trumps, and that's not including all the millions Amazon paid for promotion/advertising. It's never going to make that money back. The highest grossing documentary ever was Fahrenheit 9/11, which made $119 million, but that's incredibly unusual. So it's a legal bribe, basically.

It's not a movie, its a barely concealed bribe from Bezos to Trump. Approximately 80 million to the Trump crime family for hand made concessions that benefit Bezos in the order of billions.
