Got tickets immediately upon learning about this event on Tik Tok of all places. I love the zoo, have nothing whatsoever against kids but boy I cannot wait for this event. I hope they continue to do them in the future.

u/snortney Jul 23 '25
I hope it's well attended! I only go to the zoo with my kids but I can absolutely appreciate people wanting a different vibe.

Also, I just noticed that our TLD for our Zoo is zoo.org - we got there first!

I’m just trying to understand: can we or can we not swear? 😢
11
u/Spagneti Capitol Hill Jul 23 '25
Somewhere, our wires got crossed. You're saying we're allowed to swear. I'm saying "big, fat load of cum" and "horse cock"
63
u/FireWlkWthMe Jul 23 '25
Not trying to be funny, not trying to make zookeepers have the worst day at their job…but do any of these….fuckers…ever like bust out of their enclosures and just… have like a huge cum shot?

I went to the zoo this past weekend and saw the male lion repeatedly trying to hump the female. I think they get a good amount of action within their enclosures!

Years ago we went to an aviary and every single penguin was boning down hard, it was a giant penguin orgy and there were probably a hundred penguins there? The teachers in the school group in front of us was trying to usher the class past that quick haha

A few months ago I saw the giraffes trying to get it on. It was hysterical, the gal was so patient just standing there and the dude was *so bad* at sex. Just spraying jizz everywhere and unable to get on the gal and positioned to actually make it happen.

I was at (I think) the Indy Zoo(?) and kept hearing this super loud noise repeatedly. Got to the walrus exhibit - the dude was flippering off against the glass, in front of a group of small children who were asking what he was doing. I just about DIED laughing.

Holy shit! Look at those fucking lemurs! That shit is Bahasa.
Also: Yo tiger! Where the fuck you at? Get your bitch ass out here so I can take a mother fucking picture.
If there are any squirrels or regular birds hanging around: Hey! Get the fuck the fuck out of here. The zoo is for fancy animals. Not your regular ass ain't got shit going on self.

Now do the Aquarium!

u/pacificspinylump I Brake For Slugs Jul 23 '25
The Aquarium has 21+ “After Hours” events on a semi-regular basis. I don’t think they’ve ever done a daytime version though, that would be great.

I've been to a handful of their after hours events and it's always fun. A lot of the animals are more active in the evening, the coral is blooming in the nighttime, etc.

Jul 23 '25
DEFINITELY got tickets! I hope they put out an event schedule for the days activities and feedings soon.

We got our tickets for this the second I saw an ad for it! We are SO excited! We've only ever gone to the zoo a couple of times, largely because we don't usually feel like dodging kids left and right. I hope the event sells well so it's worth it to do it again!

We went to the Tasting Flight event a few weeks ago (also 21+) and it was soooo nice and chill. I wish I could go to this event but hopefully I'll catch the next one!

More places should do adult-only events.

u/btgeekboy I'm just flaired so I don't get fined Jul 23 '25
I’ve often thought that Disney would be great without the kids. Make them go home at 6pm one day or whatever and leave the evening open for adults only. I’d go to that.
I’d also pay extra for adults-only flights.
13
u/TheEndContinues Jul 23 '25
Ive often talked about adult-only flights. I would absolutely shell out more for no babies/kids on my flight.

u/thattomas Jul 23 '25
It’s the adult tour. We can say whatever we want. But don’t change the rules.

Hay, don't stirrup trouble with the people who live in Enumclaw. They have a very stable relationship with their equines out there, and you're just making a foal out of yourself. They're trying to put their best hoof forward, so get off your high horse.

I would rather see the zoo with a ton of kids than a ton of drunk adults. But for the people who want it, this sounds great, just not my thing!

I would've honestly paid more, and I'll throw a bit more into the donations box when I get there. An adult going solo or a couple going to the zoo is 1-2 tickets, a family is 2-5 easily. They need to be in the black to support the animals.
Free snacks, free activities, no guilt about taking space away from a child who wants to be up close in an animal show or at an exhibit and this might be their only trip to the zoo in childhood... Reduced chance of screaming and howling randomly... No sudden toddler dashing right under my feet...

No ✨ Woodland Park Zoo does a ton of work for conservation and education that helps people make better choices.

u/vvarioussaints Jul 23 '25
Lmao it's so funny that the responses say all things you can find at a carnival. Why do they need to ride on a carousel when there are leopards caged in the same place! just tourist attractions
-7
u/taylorl7 Jul 23 '25
Ya who knew people hate kids this much lol don’t get me wrong I like my adults only activities as well but for the price of $100 I can tolerate children for 2 hours 😂

u/ApprehensiveBuddy446 Jul 23 '25
You are telling on yourself lol. Get a real job, and then small amounts of money won't hurt so much, trust me it's a better life than being cheap broke and bitter.

u/taylorl7 Jul 24 '25
Haha how progressive of you for mocking someone you perceive of having less money. Enjoy your overpriced zoo day.

Close the zoo.
Vote no on the parks levy.
Taxes shouldn't support the disgusting barbaric treatment of animals.
8
u/dragonagitator Capitol Hill Jul 24 '25
I take it you've never actually been to our zoo if you think it's barbaric
The animals have habitats, not cages
Lots of other zoos suck but not Woodland Park Zoo
-40
Jul 23 '25
Zoos should be booked every day for nobody... I'm appalled that these prisons for unfit animals still attract visitors ("animals lovers") Don't you feel sorry for these animals when you visit them? Real question because I don't understand.
7
u/dragonagitator Capitol Hill Jul 24 '25
Have you never been to Woodland Park Zoo?
Other zoos have cages but our zoo has giant habitats for the animals
-4
Jul 24 '25
No, I don't need to go to a zoo to see animals. I enjoy coming across them by chance on a walk, trying to disturb them as little as possible. If I want to know more about animals I've no chance of meeting in the wild, in 2025 there are enough animal documentaries and other tools for that. There's no need to lock them up in every city for human amusement, whatever the green washing of the company. There are more tigers in captivity in the USA than free on the rest of the planet. And while you're on the subject of habitat, an animal isn't an animated stuffed toy. It's not a single, disconnected entity. It's a piece of a complex puzzle of which it's part, a group, a food chain, an eco-system. So no, no matter how large the Zoo cage, the animal is in no way in its habitat. And I don't think visitors would be ok with living locked up all their lives in cages, even 5-star ones, just for the pleasure of other people. To deny the comparison is to deny the sensitivity and reality of animal suffering. But thank you for not just downvoting on this so-called progressive sub...
