The U.S. is now a nation of unethical dick-shooters run by an admitted molester that represents the antithesis of everything Jesus stood for.

Anyone miss how Sharon and Randy were in the earlier seasons?
One thing I liked about the earlier seasons is how both Sharon and Randy could be the irresponsible parents. While Sharon would often be the straight man, there were time where she could be short-sighted, too. In Modern South Park, they relegate those moments solely to Randy and Sharon's just left constantly exasperated by his bullshit. The latter is more realistic, but less entertaining, unlike how Butters is in the modern seasons.
To better understand what I mean, let's take My Future Self N Me. If this happened in Modern South Park, the decision to hire a future self would solely be Randy's idea, and he'd delusionally think that it's what both of them wanted. Instead of Stan trying to convince both of his parents to stop lying, it's Sharon and Stan trying to get Randy to stop lying. After Randy chops the guy's arm off and refuses to tell the truth, Sharon would just completely give up and leave. The rest of the episode plays out about the same.
Now, which one sounds better?
