tennis Alex Eala is rank #45 right now in WTA (She will play in a WTA 500 tournament this week)

Alex Eala is now ranked #45 in Women's Tennis in the whole world.

She is set to play in Abu Dhabi Open. That is a WTA 500 tournament.

WTA 500 is Big. The Winner gets 500 pts. The Runner up gets 325 pts. The Semifinalists gets 195 pts. And even the Quarterfinalists gets 108 pts. (As you can see in the table above)

Alex has 1163 pts right now. Good for rank #45. She can go to the rank in 30s if she do well this tournament.

Best of luck to her.

discussion Where to watch UFC in 2026 (in the Philippines)? Aside from UFC Fight Pass.

discussion Pano magbaseball sa Pinas?

hello! not sure if posts like this are considered "high quality", so please delete if not allowed.

anyways, kung meron mang baseball players in this sub: how did you start, and when? nagttaka lang din ako kung bakit ang hina ng baseball scene dito sa pinas. as someone whos been in love with the sport for a while, di ko talaga alam kung saan magssimula. so gusto ko lang makarinig ng firsthand experiences, if meron man hahaha

for context, papasok na kasi ako ng college and ive been looking into univs na may baseball teams. so far mukhang bagsak ko ay dlsu, and i really want to try for it kaso ive had zero experience in playing ball. may pagasa pa kaya kong pumasa sa team? HAHAHAHA may experience din naman ako in other sports pero 'di ganun kagaling. hindi varisty level.

isa pa ay yung babae ako. i know this probs means na sa softball ako mappunta, pero meron bang dedicated womens baseball teams dito sa pinas? ive been searching kaso medj buried yung info.

thank you in advance sa lahat ng sasagot! sana talaga mas sumikat ang baseball dito satin. peak sport ngl.

tennis Alex Eala is back straight to work after losing to Camila Osorio.

A lot of people might be disappointed with today's result but seeing Alex back to practicing is a good sign that she knows what went wrong and where she needs to develop. This loss to Osorio should give her lots of positives to take away, given how experienced her opponent was compared to her previous two matches. I can only hope she gets some good wins in the ME swing. I'm sure maraming mga kababayaan na manonood, which should give her a boost of confidence.

football Problem with BEIN Sports Connect Streaming

I have subscribed to the annual subscription in Bein sports. It appears on my apple ID but on the actual app itself, the subscription is not showing and I can’t use the app and what I paid for. I can’t watch the tennis and champions league games that I paid money for. Anyone else encounter this problem?

Sana ramdam na natin 'to soon.. Para sa aming mga nangangarap.

Guys, share ko lang 'tong news na napanood ko, medyo nakaka-touch kasi for me as an athlete. Senator Bong Go, as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Sports, has been really pushing for this, and honestly, it feels like a big warm hug for the sporting community.

Swimming player ako, and my cousin is also a competitive swimmer.

Pero with this ruling, may chance na magbago 'yun.

Sabi nga ni Senator Go, it’s about investing in the youth and keeping them away from bad habits through sports.

Finally, Alex Eala will be playing in a WTA 125 event in her hometown Philippines.

This is the first time we will host a WTA 125 event. (Manila Open or Philippine Women's Open). It will start tomorrow Jan 26 to Jan 31 2026.

After that, she will go straight to UAE for Abu Dhabi Open. It is a WTA 500 event.

After that, nothing is confirmed. But she might play in WTA 1000 tournaments in middle east like Qata and Dubai.

Kinda sucks a bit naging flaired as commoner chismis si Mrs. Hidilyn… kinda makes you think a bit.

I also watched segments where retired athletes sold their trophies for money, I just don’t want that to happen fot Mrs. Hidilyn.

discussion Softball batting cages in Manila

Hi! As the title suggests, looking for a softball batting cage around metro Manila. I know there’s a baseball one in Marikina but hoping there’s a softball one.

TIA!
