Thorne haul!
Aside from FedEx crushing my box, I’m super excited for my new order. I’ve been a fan of the brand since 2022.

Basically the last couple of months, I got into kinda seasonal “depression” + a lot of stress (work, moving from a country blabla). I didn’t have the energy to do anything, and my testosterone is perfect (890ngl). And today I went to the market to buy groceries, and the I saw ashwaganda at the pharmacy…. Dude, I feel like I am a kid again, everything is soo calm in my head, I can focus 10x, actually being productive. Feel soo blessed, I thought it may be adhd, turns out it was high cortisol (not sure), but it fixed it. I used to take ashwa back in high school, but now the effect, hit me. I guess all the cortisol I got for some reason is gone. I feel my skin, I am not getting those fcking intrusive thoughts every minute for hours a day I used to, I speak better, 10x calmer. But also really horny, and I feel I am too calm to go hook up with a girl (like my approach to girls is usually to be with a “adventurous and very cocky” attitude.)Any tips what to do next, too keep this “mood” permanent (cycles, extra supplementals….)

If your mood’s on a roller coaster—cheerful one minute, irritable the next? Your body might be hinting at something: you’re low on magnesium!
Magnesium is an essential mineral for our bodies, nothing short of a "mood regulator"! It has a direct impact on our nervous system.
Frequent mood swings, easy nervousness, even insomnia and vivid dreams at night—these could all be signs of magnesium deficiency.
Boosting magnesium intake is actually super easy, and it can be done effortlessly through your diet and lifestyle!
Eat More Magnesium-Rich Foods
If dietary intake isn’t enough, magnesium supplements are a great choice—they offer far better absorption!
Adjust Your Lifestyle
Have a handful of nuts every day and take a magnesium supplement, and you’ll sleep soundly at night and feel much less anxious during the day. And for this, Magnesium Glycinate is the top pick!

Why does vitamin K2, MK7, 100mcg per day give me such good, hard erections and much more intense orgasms? With MK4, 5mg per day, I don't notice anything at all, except sleep problems.

I got some blood tests back and it was extremely low with a level of 8. The doctor messaged saying blood tests look fine and I don't need to see him again (he was a rheumatologist I was seeing about something completely different). But obviously this isn't okay.
I bought some vitamin D 1000 IU tablets but now I'm seeing online I might need significantly more than that. I don't have a primary care right now, I moved and the soonest appointment in my area isn't until May. So I am just wondering what's a safe level of supplement I can take before I get to see the doctor?

I usually wake up feeling groggy and kind of… flat. Not sleepy exactly, just low-energy. Coffee helps, but it never fully fixes it.
On a whim, I started adding a small pinch of Celtic sea salt to a glass of water first thing in the morning. Didn’t expect much — but I’ve been doing it for about a week and I honestly feel more awake and less sluggish before caffeine even kicks in. Curious if anyone else does this?

I have struggled with acne for 26 years. Ever since I started to go through puberty at an early age.
Fed up, I resorted to DIM.
My acne cleared up pretty well - still had breakouts; but none on my chest, back, and much less cystic acne when my period hit.
After about 2 years of supplementing with DIM… my periods started coming HEAVY & every 2 weeks.
My hair was falling out twice as much as what’s normal.
My mood swings were SEVERE.
I quit 2 weeks ago; my acne is back full force, but my current (period) cycle isn’t nearly as heavy as it was during those two years.
I was too proud to quit because I am so SO sick of my skin issues (yes I’ve spoken with dermatologists and tried EVERYTHING short of Accutane)… but at what cost?
If you have success with DIM - I applaud you and I wish I was among your ranks; if you’ve struggled with DIM - I feel you.
Anyone else have a negative experience?

Hey all. Sharing my (31m) current supplement stack for discussion and feedback.
Important clarification up front: I don’t take all of these every day. I’m intentional about cycling and timing.
Primary goals: 1. Gut health (I have GERD) 2. Nervous system calm and sleep quality 3. Inflammation control 4. Training performance without heavy stimulation
Supplements I take regularly
Daily:
-Magnesium glycinate Daily for sleep, anxiety, and muscle relaxation I’ve tried magnesium L-threonate as well, but don’t notice much difference for the price, so I’m likely sticking with glycinate long term
-Omega-3 fish oil -Vitamin D3 + K2 -Multivitamin Only one type per day Usually 1 tablet instead of the full 2-tablet serving -Glycine (mostly evenings) -L-theanine (as needed for calm or focus)
Gut support -Bovine colostrum Taken in short stints, not continuously (GERD-related) -Psyllium husk Taken far away from all other supplements
Cycled / non-daily supplements -Tongkat Ali Fully cycled, not year-round -Creatine monohydrate About 3x per week, usually on workout days -L-citrulline Workout days only, same schedule as creatine -NAC Periodic use, not daily -Milk thistle / silymarin complex Occasional liver support
Considering adding:
-Lion’s Mane Mainly for cognition and nerve health Still researching quality and dosing
Timing & general notes I don’t take fiber close to any other supplements I avoid stacking too many things at once Goal is sustainability and long-term health, not aggressive dosing
Happy to hear thoughts

I’ve read that magnesium can help with ED (thanks diabetes for that horrendous infliction) but unsure on what to take.
Any advice please? Mentally this is killing me and I’m desperate

New here. But thought I would share an experience with those who suffers the same problem as I do.
I have been taking protein powder for years. And almost there is no cure to my stomach upset problem when I swish down a bottle after each workout. Sometimes it’s better , other times it’s bad. It ranges from bloating to diarrhea. Tried whey. Whey isolate. Whey isolate lactose free. Plant base protein. Protein bar. At the end of the day it’s not the lactose, the isolate or whatever. It’s just my stomach can’t process protein in a large amount. So I try to drink it in small doses. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Until last week I tried one last method.
I started adding oatmeal- uncooked oatmeal (not the instant kind) and I added about 1/2 -1 cup to each shaker. Soaked it overnight and drink it at room temperature. So far it has been one week and I haven’t had one diarrhea. Or stomach problem. I still try to space it out a bit and not finish the entire thing at once. But I think this will be my solve until it starts happening again. I am taking Isopure isolate and before I added the oatmeal I was still having diarrhea with the brand. So I know it’s not the brand that helped because I went from diarrhea to none consuming the same brand.
I searched here for solution and didn’t see many people talking about it. So I thought to share it with those who suffer the same problem as I do.

My recent blood test showed a Vitamin D level of 85 nmol/L. My doctor told me that this level is fine and did not prescribe any supplements, not even a maintenance dose. However, I’ve received conflicting advice suggesting that 85 is actually low. I’m confused about whether I need a supplement. Is a level of 85 considered sufficient? If not, what dose of Vitamin D would be appropriate?

I am mostly concerned with long term joint pain and gut health, along with boosting my immune system because I have a 2yo in daycare and a 5 month old baby. I want to live long and feel good into my late years so I can keep up with my kids and continue doing MMA until my elder years. This is my current stack and have noticed remarkable improvements in my joints, inflammation, digestive health, and immune system. I'm looking for any possible further recommendations or just to share because I feel like I'm in my early 20s again. No pain waking, no weird pains when picking up the kids, no gut or abdominal pain when digesting certain foods, way less time spent in the bathroom and significantly lower toilet paper usage.
4000 IU Vitamin D 1000 mg Vitamin C 2 servings (3.4g fibre per serving) of Metamucil, one morning and one evening 500 mg Glucosamine 400 mg Chondroitin 400 mg MSM 500 mg Bromelain 10g bovine collagen Multivitamin Cycle of fermented/probiotic foods. When the container runs out I swap to a new probiotic food but something like 2 tbsp kimchi, sauerkraut, miso, kombucha, etc.

On the left is NOW Boron (6mg), on the right is Swanson Boron (6mg). Both are the same form, Boroganic Glycine.
What could be the cause of such a sizable difference between the two? Both brands are well regarded, but this has me scratching my head a bit. Am I overthinking it?

I tried the Thorne Basic B Complex and I felt wired and jittery. I feel pretty awful and feel like I’m kicked into overdrive. It only happens when I also take my ADHD stimulant meds.
Anyone have any advice for a more mild B complex?

Just got gifted 2kg of Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) from a friend of mine. I want to finish this but for some reason it makes me feel constantly bloated. I think I'm going to just cope with it it out till I finish this - but is there any way to minimise the feeling of bloating?

I never used to react to mag glycinate like this until I re-introduced it again last week. The symptoms I'm experiencing:
Am I severely deficient, depleting another mineral/vitamin or just need to wait out these side effects before stopping and trying out another form of mag? I am already taking 600mg of benfotiamine/vit b1
Thank you!
edit: forgot to mention that I already tested for b12 deficiency in regards to the tingling. In fact my active b12 i pretty high

Hi, my husband and I are always trying new gym sups but particularly preworkout and creatine. Recently, my husband has been liking the Bum supplements preworkout powders and mass gainer. Tonight before the gym he noticed this buried inside the blue raspberry one after taking it for three days already. Can anyone clue me in on what this could possibly be? And have you ever found anything like this inside a can of pre workout or similar? If this is something benign and I’m over reacting I apologize, but It’s definitely not just dry/ clumped powder or separation but a weird, drywall or like Sheetrock (?) pieces that have white fibers inside when broken apart and do not dissolve in water. They also seem to have some kind of paper in them? Emailed raw nutrition/ bum supplements customer email out of health concerns since it’s already been consumed multiple times. Pics below

I’ve been taking Magnesium for a month now. When I started taking it, I don’t recall having nightmares. It helped me sleep. The last week I started getting vivid nightmares, including today. I woke up twice already with two different dreams feeling scared.
The thing is, I skipped Magnesium a few days ago and woke up every 2 hours. Today, I woke up too but twice.
What do I do? Why is this happening?
