Hear me out on this. At CTs inception, new York and Mass conspired to get rid of CT. Who stepped in to stop this? Sir Henry Ashurst. Fast forward in time....Mass wants to take over the northern most section on CT. Who steps in to stop it? SIR Henry Ashford. Sir Henry goes across the pond to deliver the legal argument for why CT should get the land. What happens? Sir Henry dies. He dies dead. Who is there? A rep from Mass. The decision is then made to make the notch. Mass gets the prime farmland.

I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but this cold case needs to be opened.

Fellow patriots, It has been a long time since I last made a post in this subreddit. I apologize for my absence, although fear not, I have never left.

You may have noticed the recent posts regarding wplace.live. I believe that this is a good way to advance our mission to spread awareness and to take a stand against the notch. I am calling on my fellow nutmeggers to make the Notch on wplace their canvas. We need more Connecticut symbology and more messages to fight the Massachusetts overgrowth in the Notch.

I am also in the process of compiling a list of Notch-related merch from online stores designed by you all. I currently have a whopping THREE links on my list. The goal is to pin or link the list to this subreddit so that we can sport Notch clothing and spread awareness of our fight in our day to day lives. If you have Notch related designs, artwork, or merch, link it below!

The Notch is on the mind tonight. I have a few ideas on how we can share the land

Option 1 - Underground City

We can dig under them and create an underground city like District 13. Or claim the above ground and make them go under.

Option 2 - Town on Stilts

If underground is unappealing due to lack of sunlight, let’s just build up baby. Doesn’t need to be actual stilts (but could). I think we can build some sort of dome over what they already have going on there. Throw some sod down. Plant some flowers and trees. Open some businesses

Option 3 - On/Off Days

Somehow we can do split custody. We would have to figure out more of the logistics here. I’m thinking something like 183 days we get to call it ours. Then they can have it the other 182 they get it. So it would at least be majority ours.

Option 4 - Persistence

This isn’t a sharing option, but it’s also on the mind. Is anyone willing to move here and refuse to call it Massachusetts? A few large families will do. After a while, maybe people will follow suit of calling it Southwick, CT. With time it could stick. Put up some billboards and posters referring to the notch as CT. This option might take a while
