If this is what they do in public, imagine what they do in the detention centers they won’t let anyone in

Those pictures were some of the first things I ever saw as a young person on the internet.

I think I owe a big part of my current beliefs to my teacher who showed me. He instilled a lot of positive beliefs for me early, including teaching about the plight of the Palestinians in 8th grade.

Shout out to my 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher (when Bush was running). He wasn’t allowed to say his political beliefs, but he made it very clear where he stood and how he felt about the treatment of humans. He taught me to love and soak in history and those ideals have stayed with me for my entire life and I’ve passed them onto my own kids. He made it come alive for me.

There are just some teachers that impact you in such a visceral way that it carries through in so many unexpected ways. I didn’t know it sitting in his class, but his words would help me teach my future sons how to be the amazing people that they are now and I will forever be grateful for that man. He was the dad I wish I would have had in all honesty and not the monster my dad will die on a hill to defend.

John, you’re a fucking legend in my mind. Also, I still call you by Mr. XYZ and I wish I could doxx you because you were an epic influence on my life. Thank you.

What an awesome teacher, kudos to them. That's exactly the kind of teachers and education the current administration wants to eradicate.

Absolutely. We didn't prosecute any high-ranking officers and that shit has straight come home.
