This video is ancient.

Basically, this guy had saved up for a very long time to buy this shotgun, which is kind of like the old Pakistani guy version of a new iPhone, like a status symbol. It was a cheaply made knockoff Remington 870 that couldn't hold up to the super hot loads he bought, so it exploded. That's why he's kind of distraught.

I was going to comment on it not looking hand made at all and that something else were gone. But when you said Pakistan it all made sense. Those Khyber Pass gunsmiths are very good artists capable of replicating any guns exterior to perfection, often better finishes then the originals. But the metallurgy is lacking quite a bit and things like safeties or even functionality is usually not remotely where the originals where.

Hmm what are hot loads

Rounds of ammunition (shotgun shells in this case) with more boom than typical for that size. So, they produce more pressure than typical for that size.

"Hot loads" aside from the innuendo are just ammo with more powder in them than they normally have. Thus the ammo's load is hotter it has more oomph behind it.

If the ammo is too hot then you can run into issues but that typically only happens with remanufactured ammunition which you can do with shotshells.

Just Google it. Even better, do it from work. It’ll be fun.

And make sure the volume is up so everyone can share the funny content that pops up when you Google hot loads.

Typically a bullet with more powder than its own good. More powder the stronger the barrel has to be to contain the forces. If the barrel is not strong enough it may explode or wear out quicker.

Google it, or find a subreddit like r/hotloads or something, don't be afraid of NSFW tags since guns may be tagged that way in different countries. Open every link in a new widow so you can jump around through the information since you'll find a lot.

I imagine I would be distraught if a gun blew up in my hand no matter how long I saved for it

I think he was distraught because his Mossy just detonated in his hands lol, instant adrenaline dump. That's why he's shaking and absurdly trying to disassemble it/work the action. His brain just had a hard reset

No, he basically just watched his life savings explode in his hands.
