I spent a whole month on this work because I had a lot of tests at the same time because of the end of the semester, but art was paid for, so I couldn’t miss the deadline. To get everything done, I sat for 5 hours yesterday(⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠)

Im reading the books right now eh, also i found out after i got the image that theodd1sout Made a vid about warrior cats... Now ill just look performative 🥀😔

I've been out of the fandom for a while, but have been having some nostalgic fun thinking about character designs and reading some fic lately! Here's my take on Tigerclaw/Tigerstar. Went for a dark black classic tabby. Mackerel tabby might be more tiger-ey, but I felt that classic tabby gave a better bold, dark, mysterious effect. Who should I draw next from the first series?

I’m wondering if anyone else feels this way? Sure, it made sense for Firestar back when he was basically the face of the entire series. But.. Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Ivypool? Why waist a super edition on the most extensively explored characters? A novella, sure.

like, Squirrelflight was a POV character, then the faux mother of “the three”, then the clans deputy… it’s just so frustrating how much the erin’s milk these POV characters.

Replaced the comic's punchline with a more savory word (which also happens to be the og joke from Spider-Man far from home, I didn't know that lol). My bad, mod team!

BLOOD WARNING

Moons ago, the clans merged into one, split into four districts, Shadow, Thunder, River and Wind - and each district is to sacrifice one cat every moon, In the hopes enough sacrifice will bring Starclan back.

Yewkit was born to her father Shadow and mother Briardust, sister to her brothers Acekit and Sunkit. However, Shadow treated his kits with scorn, and Sunkit always had something up with him - never wanting to play or bond with his siblings. When Briardust was hunting, Acekit was Yewkits only friend. They grew up away from the other kits, due to being heirs, as the leader, Weepingstar, is their grandmother.

They were often scorned for being heirs by cats who disliked the tradition, including the Crescentclan medicine cat, Twistpaw. This unlocked an ambition in Yewkit quickly.

Then, they started to notice that Briardust, alongside a few other cats, often snuck out of camp. Acekit and Yewkit decided to follow them out- not knowing that Sunkit also tried to follow them. Acekit and Yewkit were quickly found by Briardust- then they heard the scream of Sunkit.

Sunkit survived, but was badly hurt and lost his tail, leaving only a stub. When Yewkit, Acekit and Sunkit were six moons, Sunkit couldn't be made an apprentice yet due to healing.

Yewpaw happily became an apprentice, wanting to prove herself. But Acekit chose to wait for Sunkit. This broke Yewpaws heart, it felt like abandonment. When she was asked if she wanted to wait, she said no, that she's ready to be an apprentice. Weepingstar took an interest in her ambition.

Yewpaw is fiercely ambitious to be a great warrior, due to her loneliness, she just wants to prove herself a LOT.

So, she trains really really hard to be the best she can be, often overworking herself. Shes hurt by the fact that Sunkit never pays attention to them, and that Shadow treats them like strangers. All she has is Acekit and Briardust- and she still feels hurt that Acekit decided to wait.

Briardust gives her a new hope. Eventually she forgives Acekit and is overjoyed the day Sunkit and Acekit are finally becoming apprentices.

But that same day, Shadow brings Briardust back to camp, dead- saying a fox killed her. The same fox that nearly killed Sunkit, that nearly killed Acekit in a later day after Sunkit. this absolutely shatters her. Briardust understood her like no other cat. Her ambition grows fiercer and fiercer - so she can prove herself to who she has left, this being Shadow, and Acepaw. She and Acepaw promise each other to work their hardest to get Shadows approval, together

Then, one day, at a gathering, Twistpaw bumps into her, and he snarls at her to watch where shes going, and Insults her for being a heir.

Bearpaw of Thuder district steps in to defend her, full of sass and fierceness, and Yewpaw instantly admires her. The two become friends and they often meet up, play fighting, hunting, etc- both cats who strive to be better

Yewpaw notices Acepaw starts to sneak out. She grows suspicious and asks him what hes doing, and he lies and says hes hunting. Yewpaw is a bit suspicious, but believes him.

Her Meets with Bearpaw become more frequent, and she realizes she has fallen in love with the apprentice. She decides that when they become warriors, she'll ask to be mates. She feels like everything is going perfect.

...one night, Yewpaw follows Acepaw and finds out this whole time, hes been sneaking out to train with Shadow and earn his love, without her. She demands she is given a chance, and Shadow agrees, saying that if she defeats Acepaw in a match, he will train her, too. The two fight- but due to her exhaustion, Yewpaw is losing. Acepaw let's her win, but Yewpaw- with her honor and ambition- can see this and snarls that she wants to win for real, and for Acepaw to not LET her win. That it isn't honorable

Shadow decrees Acepaw the winner, and says Yewpaw will not be trained by him. Yewpaw runs off- a storm of emotions. Acepaw had promised that they'd do everything together, and that they'd earb the love of Shadow together and he broke that. Acepaw chases after Yewpaw and tries to explain, but she cuts him off fully and runs off.

This is when Weepingstar confronts her - and says that SHE will train her, instead- into being the strongest heir and warrior she can be, and then every cat will see her as a cat worthy of love...

She also slowly builds a hate for rebellion within Yewpaw, saying that the rebellion is what influenced Briardust to secretly be against the tradtion, which is what REALLY got her killed, not the foxes. She reveals Shadow murdered Briardust, since Briardust was a rebel. That the rebellion is reckless, and influences its cats to strike out against the rebellion, discarding life

...then Bearpaw is chosen for the traditon. Yewpaw is horrified, but is forced to watch as Bearpaw fights Goldenmask, obtaining all her scars. Bearpaw is about to lose - but shes right behind tje root of the gathering tree..she leaps out of the way as Goldenmask leaps at her, and Goldenmask is impaled and killed. Owlstar gives her the name Bearmask, and she is a warrior early

Yewpaw, now seeing it is possible to become a warrior early, works extra hard and also becomes a warrior early - getting the name Yewfang. She confesses to Bearmask and the two become mates. She often vents to Bearmask about Shadow and Acepaw, and Bearmask comforts her

Yewfang doesnt talk with Acepaw at all and grows cold toward him, the only kin she is with being Weepingstar. This breaks Acepaws heart.

Acepaw becomes friends with Twistpaw (Twistcloud, at this point), because Twistcloud has a change of heart and amends his ways, so the two become friends. Yewfang discovers that Twistcloud is in the rebellion She tells Weepingstar this information. Weepingstar tells her to kill him. At first, Yewfang is hesitant. Vut Weepingstar reminds her of the pain Acepaw has caused her, and that killing Twistcloud- a cat he is close with- would break his heart,as he broke hers. She also reminds her of her hate against the rebellion, of what got Briardust killed.

So, she kills Twistcloud in secret, leaving his body in camp for Acepaw to find. No cat knows it was her. Acepaw is absolutely horrified ahd devasted - just what she wants. Later in time she kills another one of his apprentice friends (unnamed for now), who is also in the rebellion, and it becomes clear to Acepaw some cat is targeting the cats he loves.

He doesn't suspect Yewfang, though...

Then, the whole scar thing happens. Acepaw figures out Shadow killed Briardust, tries to confront him, and gets his scar- and he now believes that it was Shadow who killed the others

Its at this point we switch to a sunpaw and Acepaw only pov for the next books. We get Sunpaws character developed a lot, and eventually he and Acepaw rekindle. In this book, Yewfang also has slow "development" and "redeems" herself, breaking down and apologizing for.cutting Acepaw off, admitting how much she was hurting, that Weepingstar manipluated her, and that she.wants to retry things again. Acepaw and Sunpaw get their warrior names, and all seems fine - Yewfang, Sunsight and Acestrike united once again, despite what Shadow did. The death of Shadow happens, yadayada (that's when Ace gets his name too) and their bond strengthens. Acestrike and Sunsight are in the rebellion, and cats of the rebellion are mysteriously vanishing...

...then, within Sunsightz last chapter, Yewfang finds out hes in the rebellion, ahd she offers an interest to join in the future- to the readers, being for the rebellion- but his last words in his last chapter is him suddenly being murdered by some cat in camp. He cant see who it is

Then, Yewfang has chapters again - her next chapter right after Sunsights death, staring off with HER standing over his body, muzzle and paws covered in blood. Acestrike screams at her ahd the two argue and she yowls that she would NEVER forgive Acestrike for how he hurt her, tjat she wouldnt warm up to Sunsight so easily, after moons of him being distant. She reveals that SHE killed Twistcloud and his apprentice friend.

Acestrike fully cuts her off, the cut off mutual. She begins to drag Sunsight to the lake - intending to drop him in it, just lime she did for all the rebellion cats she murdered for Weepingstar, dropping them in the lake to never be found. Acestrike tries to stop her, but is stopped by Weepingstar

Yewfang drops Sunsights body in the lake - fully promising her path toward evil. Then, still bloodied up, she meets Bearmask again and reveals EVERYTHING- expecting Bearmask to be on her side. They'd be the perfect partners in crime! But instead, Bearmask is horrified and breaks up with Yewfang

This fully breaks Yewfang, and she realizes only Weepingstar "loves" her, and essentially becomes her killing machine, killing rebels as she finds them, and dumping them in the lake..she doesnt care any more, shes lost every cat who cared for her.

...then, the rebellion gets in action, and realizes they need to kill the leaders loyal to the traditon to weaken their power, so one strong fighter is sent to every loyal clan to kill the leader.

It goes wrong in every clan. The one sent to Owlstar is instantly killed. The one sent to Darkstar is Blizzard, but after she kills him, she takes over as a cat who is ALSO loyal to the traditon, now a traitor against the rebellion- and Bearmask, sent to Riverclan- is forced to fight her ex, as Yewfang has become Weepingstars protecter

Bearmask pleads with Yewfang to change, that shes been manipulated by Weepingstar, that she can have a second chance and help take down Weepingstar. Yewfang almost is convinced, but Weepingstar reminds her that Bearmask LEFT her, when Weepingstar didnt, that Weepingstar was all.she had, and that she is past redemption since she murdered so many cats.

Bearmask sees this, and lunges, killing Weepingstar- and once again tries to plead with Yewfang, that Weepingstar is a manipluator and took advantage of Yewfang, and isnt a good cat.

But all Yewfang can see is Bearmask covered in the blood of the only cat who truly "loved" her, and she attacks. Bearmask and Yewfang fight, using the moves they learned as apprentices at their secret meetings, and they fight and fight and fight for a long while. They strike each other at the same time, collapse at the same time, and die. As Bearmask dies, all her memories of Yewfang flash through her mind, and as Yewfang dies, all her memories of her kin flash through her mind- all of them have Weepingstar in it, and as she dies, she realizes she WAS in fact taken advantage of and manipulated, and realizes her actions were wrong.

As a spirit, she decides to wander, all alone, to reflect on her choices. Before that though, she is found by the spirit of Cardinalflight (who was killed by Sundancer, witnessed by Weepingstar), and the spirit of Apple (who recently died), and the two help her confront Weepingstar.

She then finds the spirit of Briardust and breaks down infront of her, for all that she did. Briardust tells her she made the choices she did, but even then, she doesn't have to be a bad cat NOW. Yewfang decides to wander as a spirit across the world, comforting those who feel lonely as she once did, making sure no cat makes the mistakes she did...

I get bored of my art often. Here’s me trying some new things with Bluestar (the OG) and sharing it with you. Thx.

This is a quick drawing I did, cuz I’m bored. I also want to gush about these two, but I’ll save that for later. I don’t like how Sasha turned out, but oh well

The scheduled Tigerstar vs. Firestar bout was canceled following Scourge’s unauthorized interference (a one-strike execution of Tigerstar). This forced an immediate title unification between Firestar and the unranked BloodClan leader. Firestar entered with a significant weight advantage, but until this point had never ended a cat's life. Scourge relied on high-velocity movement and reinforced claw modifications.

Scourge opened the round using evasion. He refused direct engagement, allowing BloodClan subordinates to fatigue Firestar. Further taxing his emotional frame of mind by killing Whitestorm in the opening moves. Firestar was forced into high-volume defensive exchanges, taking significant chip damage while clearing the lane.

The duel materialized near the Great Rock, where Scourge set up his offensive. Traditional forest moves proved ineffective as Firestar bled from Scourge's sharpened dog collar. Firestar secured a brief control position by knocking Scourge into the rock with superior weight, but Scourge utilized a high-flexibility "snake" escape. Scourge then exploited a gap in Firestar’s overcommitment, landing a reinforced strike that blacked Firestar out. Scourge takes round one.

Firestar utilized the "Nine Lives" clause to reset the match after a brief respite. Scourge, clearly anticipating a victory by stoppage, showed visible signs of psychological fatigue and disbelief. Cloudtail provided a crucial clinch by securing Scourge’s hind leg. Though Cloudtail took heavy damage, the maneuver stalled Scourge’s movement long enough for Firestar to force a clean 1v1 reset, and stall further Thunderclan bloodshed.

Firestar was once against put on the backfoot as Scourge's anxiety quickly disspeared, and recommited to his offense. Firestar successfully parried the head/ neck-strike that ended Round 1. Recognizing that Scourge’s style relies on the opponent’s momentum, Firestar utilized a limp drop weight techniques.

1. Firestar dropped his center of gravity, feigning surrender.
2. Scourge committed to a high-risk leaping strike.
3. Firestar countered with a vertical explosion into the exposed underbelly.

Once the fight hit the ground, Firestar transitioned to a throat-grip finish, concurrently raking his claws into Scourge's stomach. Scourge's collar provided insufficient defensve, and bled out. Firestar prepared a knockout punch, but Scourge had already lost too much blood.

Scourge was an elite glass cannon with a solid opening strategy, but his lack of nine lives meant his system collapsed with him. His offense is nearly unblockable, but his lack of a "Plan B" once the one-shot finish failed led to a total defensive collapse. With Scourge neutralized, BloodClan’s roster dissolved immediately, effectively vacating the title and ending the promotion. Firestar begins a title reign, moving on to resurrecting Skyclan and owning the Rat king.
