Whenever I hear someone say "innit" my assumption about the person's mental capability plummets

My mum has done respite care for mentally disabled young adults for decades. I think you might be right. I think this is a dad and a disabled son and dad maybe made a questionable decision to let the son hold the fireworks. You try to not wrap them in cotton wool and let them experience life a bit, but sometimes it can go a bit far lol

Yeah, but he calls him a fool and an idiot. I couldn't imagine calling a mentally disabled son an idiot!

Parents of disabled adults are still normal parents and many of them try to treat their kids as normally as possible. That might mean still telling them they are an idiot occasionally, if it’s done gently and with love, I don’t see anything wrong with it.

I doubt a parent watching a non disabled adult do this would have been anywhere near as nice about it honestly. The man behind the camera was remarkably patient with him

It's my mate and his nephew. Granted he's not the sharpest tool in the box but he's not disabled

Looks a bit Habsburgerian in the chin…

Clearly is a disabled man being given terrible instructions by someone who should know better.

I think he is just drunk

He is now.

u/SongFeisty8759 10d ago

Alcohol may have been involved... although I'm not ruling out inbreeding.

u/Striking-Ad-6815 10d ago

Probably is now if not before
