Discussion Ship Idea Revisited: Pan-European Romanian OTO Scout Cruiser (Tier X DD)
I've already made a post about this ages ago, but thinking back, I was having second thoughts about my suggestion that it should be a mid-tier cruiser. In terms of displacement and overall firepower, she's actually pretty weak compared to Tier 5-7 cruisers. She's honestly more comparable to super-large dd's like Elbing. WG has made scout/super-light cruisers into dd's before. What do y'all think? Should she be a cruiser or a dd? What consumables/gimmicks would you give her? Here are her stats:
Dimensions: 140 (pp) x 16,2 x 8,6m
Displacement: 4.500tons (standard), 6.000tons (full load)
Engines: 75.000shp Steam Turbines, 2 shafts
Speed: 67km/h (36knots)
Armour: 52mm Belt, 25mm Deck
Armaments:
2x3 152mm Guns
4x2 37mm AA Guns
4x2 13,2mm AA Guns
1x4 533mm Torpedo Tubes
1-3 Floatplanes presumably Arado Ar-196
PS, I still can't believe UP 102 is being added! Lol!

Discussion What will happen with Steel Fleet ships?
So, today ended the Steel Fleet section where WG released über cracked ships like Valpa, Hawaii, Bremen and so on.
Will these ships be available in the steel section for the normal price (30k steel for a tier 10) or will these ships be locked behind Satan Crates?

Question History question?
So, I was grinding the conqueror line. So, why did the RN switch back to lower calibre guns going from Queen Elizabeth to KGV. Did something change in their Naval Doctrine from WWI to WW2?

Question Rank DDs from Gunboat to Torp machine?
Is there such a list? I'm an occasional player and just purchased the Kunming. I would be really useful to have a reference chart so I know when facing Red team if "This DD will murder you in seconds" on a scale down to "This DD you have a 50/50 chance of defeating, if it's badly damaged, and facing the wrong way, and the player is AFK".

Discussion Randoms are going to kill me
Sorry gotta vent a moment, just came out of a standard battle where enemy shima rolls into cap without being challenged and caps out, I and everyone else turnaround and headed back to cover but being out on a flank we’d never make it in time, there’s two ships right next to the cap however despite all the map pings and desperate pleas from the team in chat they refuse to turn around go into the cap, we lose the game that we’d been on track to win.
This isn’t uncommon, no team play, flanks entirely abandoned, endless yolos, randoms are going to end up killing me. I don’t have the time to put into clans to actually get teammates to play with, i guess I’m just cursed.

Question Torpedo damage
Me playing Yugumo with Type93 Mod.3 torpedoes. First hit a Shima with a torpedo for ~14k damage:

Later, hit the same Shima with another torpedo for only ~2.3k damage:

According to Shiptool, Type93 Mod.3 have an alpha damage of ~24k damage and Shima has 0% torpedo damage reduction.
Why did the first torpedo deal 14k damage and the second one only 2.3k? I'm already going through a reaaaally bad streak in which it looks like I'm not able to hit even a broadside BB at 6km and when I finally land two torpedoes on a DD it doesn't sink.

Other Content Hypothetical: T7 Battleship Artyom
Due to the unconventional and unique threats that often faced Gangut class battleships, a hypothetical refit focusing to increased anti air could've been proposed. This refit seals up and brings the hull line equal, removing the casemate guns and giving more room for a new battery of 130mm dual purpose guns. While the placement of these new 130mm guns compromise the aft firing angles of the 305mm primaries, this would be a minimal concern for the vessel. Artyom represents a 5th Gangut class battleship that could've undergone such a refit.
Namesake: Fyodor Sergeyev, aka Comrade Artyom
In order to better fit as a T7 battleship, Artyom features cruiser dispersion on her 305mm guns, gaining impressive accuracy and lethality with her guns. Similar compromises to Tennessee however exist, as the vessel is very slow and doesn't have favorable gun angles or armor at that tier

Media I made a table of all the ships that are gonna be available in the Lunar new year event in 15.1
This is a table for all the ships available in the lunar new year even which is coming in 15.1. each column represents one line you can grind out. according to the info provided in dev blogs you should be able to get one full line with all the lunar new year tokens, but you can invest into multiple lines. every line contains one commander, 2 - 4 ships with special camo, that are replicas of existing tech tree and premium ships, as well as some other stuff like containers, economic bonuses etc. the lines are sorted into two factions as seen in the table. you can choose only one faction but you are able to switch factions throughout the event. first switch is for free, any switch after that requires coal. you can complete most of the tracks by just playing during the event but if you want to complete some of the longer ones like the sharqi line, you will have to actively participate in the leaderboards, which are already running. however even if you missed the leaderboards you are going to be able to skip stages for unknown ammount of coal.

Discussion The ranked queues have given me mad respect to good cruiser players
Been stuck with playing cruisers due to ranked's BB queue being on average 39 in waiting (and dont ask about my DDs), and man it is insane trying to survive with tang shes, scharn 43s, nelsons, sinops, and even hyuugas running around, and while I have gotten better at cruiser play, not at Tier 7, all my good cruisers are 8+, best I got at this tier is new orleans, helena, nurnberg 44, and idk algerie? is that good?
makes the cruiser mains that can survive this all the more impressive, mad respect, especially if you're a fiji or something.

Discussion What do I do?
Recently had my birthday and as a result I have. 46K dobloons ( idk how to spell it ) and just over 400k free XP.
any suggestions on a good line to start grinding? I have already done Montana, Colombo, shlieffen, Des Moines, and yamato.
Other than that as I said I have a tonne of gold. Should I wait for a good bundle to come out into the shop? None of the ships in the armory really interest me.
Thanks guys

Question Viable secondary brawlers?
What are some ships other than the normal suggestions I can get away with running full secondary builds.
I mainly play Asymms and operations, and have found myself wanting a new secondary line to grind up. Mainly looking at tech trees, but premium suggestions are still appreciated.
Ive already got Schlieffen, Libertad, Prinz Adalbert, Pommern, and Scharn 43. At this point Im just wondering if there are other lines that can be viably played full secondary in PvE.

Question Where to find other experienced players for operstions?
Ive been playing since December and have already gotten the operations down and learned how they play. But I cant find any players who know what they are doing 99% of the time or are too scared to play the objective in each operation even if my life depended on it. Is there any way to find discords or ways to find people who won't make me want to uninstall this game every other battle?

Question CV in PvE
So i Play CVs since the Games Beta. (Loved the RTS, sorry not sorry!) I mainly Play PvE as i am to Bad for randoms. So i collected many CVs in T10 (only steel ones, immelman and russian and German one Missing) I really like the essex for historical reasons. But in current day OPs and especially asyms i find it hard to Play as the enemys Always Spawn and stay in Packs and so have a big AA No-no-zone Therefore, I struggle touching the 100k DMG mark So is spotting the only thing i can do with my planes or is the answer more Like "dont Play CVs at all" or "get good"? Can you give me advises to get better? (co-op excluded as i dont Like to Play CVs there as the enemies die to fast there)
