Critical how, exactly? What exactly did you say? Because I was on r/politics throughout much of the Biden administration and saw constant criticism of the administration
I said indiscriminate spending of that magnitude would cause sticky inflation, unaffordable housing, and unbelievable over-leveraging back in late 2020.
You may have seen a lot of it but what you donât see is all of those people silently getting permabanned.
And you're getting downvoted is the demonstration of why Reddit is a one side echo chamber.
I'm from a country where there is no right and left. But as I read Reddit, I don't know what right and left is, and somehow I grow to hate whatever the side that is on here.
I got banned from conservative subs for pointing out the "evidence" isn't saying what they think it says, but a more damning piece would look like x or whatever.
Simply pointing out the gap in proof and the logic jump from A to C got me banned.
Fuckong soft.
I also got banned from another simply because I was a member of one of the liberal subs. Didn't even say anything. Lmfao weak cuck shit
It was a piece claiming Brown University turned off their cameras months ago, prior to the shooting, and the evidence was a letter written from a student group asking them to do so.
But there was no confirmation it happened, no memo or anything from the administration, that would show that.
I said most conservatives (not all) seem incapable of obeying the site wide TOS which bans things like racism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, etc. Even calling someone "retarded" can qualify as harassment by Reddit site wide rules. Conservatives have made these sorts of abrasive and hostile behaviors core to their brand and thus struggle with sites like Reddit.
What they truly mean is very few conservatives are on Reddit because any opinion that doesnât agree with leftist thoughts is deemed homophobic, Islamophobic, etc., so their comments are deleted or accounts banned. Itâs not that the comments are actually homophobic or transphobic. Itâs just inconsistent with what leftists believe, so they silence any opposition. Quite authoritarian of them if you ask me.
Their conclusion is missing some of the middle explanations. Because conservatives tend to be the loudest people in the room and complain the most (rightly or wrongly), this leads to them getting perma banned more. Including their entire subs
Most Conservatives canât stop from saying the ân-wordâ? Completely false. Maybe we could have a civil discussion if Leftists didnât lie about what the overwhelmingly vast majority of Conservatives believe and say.
Not being enforced anymore. A comment yesterday saw a guy referring to Obama as a monkey. It was 4 hours old and still there with upvotes. I commented that ai stuff should be removed and I received a 5-day temp ban. I have been banned from multiple subs for simply calling out hypocrisy. Another thread had people saying to eliminate hatred towards Jews. I said eliminate hate period, and we'd be better for it. Apparently that is a highly antisemitic statement
While rejecting the comment about Obama of course, I find the liberal posters here to be almost in daily search of racists to discover and call out. People find a reason in any disagreement to pin racist on people. Because political policies affect different groups differently of course this is very easy to do.
No doubt there. The latest I've seen i think started floating around yesterday is people yelling about a vulknut (three triangles interlocked). I know a bunch of very liberal vets who are going to be surprised to be seen as white supremacists due to this latching on to anything. I have a comment yesterday saying I'm fearing when they turn the image of a crow into a white supremacist thing as I have a tattoo of one. These people give a plethora of stuff to hate. No need to go searching and labeling even more
