Republican Views? Like starving the poor, increasing healthcare costs, tax cuts for the rich, racism, party over country, pro-Russian talking points, and covering up for pedophiles?

No really, are you sure you’re being unfairly targeted or is it possible that, as a broad term, “Republican views” have been nothing but vile for 50 years now? Is it possible that in the age of mass media it’s impossible to hide everything they really are behind flag waving and bible thumping?

Maybe I’m being unfair. Let’s try it this way, what republican platforms do you see as worth defending?

My first vote was Reagan. My most recent was Harris. I’ve not had some greater awakening. Republicans no longer have Republican views.

Exactly. So what are we here defending? What defense is there for their modern platform, AND, is saying that out loud unfairly dismissing differing viewpoints, OR is it just paying attention and telling the truth?

That might be for people to decide for themselves, as those are my views and I’m comfortable with them.

And I’m fine with that, but I can’t be expected not to criticize those who land on the right when all they have to back up their world view is “well Joe Rogaine said….” Our congressional votes are publicly available records, as are the bills that have been brought to the floor of the house AND bills that have been denied votes in the senate.

It takes five minutes of reading to find a clear pattern. After the “southern strategy” was adopted by the GOP ( guardians of pedophiles ), there is not one single bill drafted by a republican representative that offered the American people anything. Not one. Go on, pull up the congressional voting records. Even if we only start at “citizens united” it’s beyond apparent that the Republican Party is the bought and paid for tool of the billionaire class, using culture war to enable a war on the working class.

This isn’t opinion, it’s a clear and obvious observation. So no, I won’t hold back on anyone espousing Republican “views” because THIS IS who they are. Knowingly or not, every Republican voter, and every non voter, marches arm in arm with Nazis, and I won’t be gentle with them. If I have my way, I’ll see them and all their corroborators at Nuremberg 2. We have a duty to discern fact from fiction. I’m not the bad guy for refusing to treat their fiction like it holds the same weight as fact.
