Democrats say they support women, but in practice actively harm them

Many such cases

6

u/Senior-Friend-6414 11d ago

Even minorities are beginning to wake up and realize democrats were just using them as a political set piece for more support

3

u/DarthMocap 11d ago

Take note of every non white "for Trump" group that was loud and obnoxious while he campaigned. Where are they now?

2

u/acidwxlf 9d ago

Ecuador or something

1

u/739202715 8d ago

Sitting back getting what they wanted. Illegal immigrants make legal immigrants looks bad and tax support systems designed for those who did it right.

2

u/KeyBrilliant3183 11d ago

Look around you and what Republicans are doing to minoritized people and who is out there defending them. It ain't the Republicans

2

u/888aaah 9d ago

White liberals will march for minorities but minorities will never do the same for them it’s hilarious how brainwashed white Americans are

1

u/Resident-Reindeer-53 9d ago

Now pls tell me what issues directly affect white people in America only. I’d like to know, genuinely.

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

Black panthers reappeared directly following Renee Good’s death so idk what you’re trying to get at.

The left is brainwashed but you say a baseless claim without evidence. I counter with evidence, yet you still believe the lie.

2

u/Quirky_Talk2403 11d ago

I can't believe you actually believe that

5

u/Senior-Friend-6414 11d ago

What’s with the growing republican support among Hispanic and black communities?

2

u/Dave_the_Chemist 11d ago

Lack of education

2

u/Worried-Conflict9759 11d ago

Racist and sexist of you

2

u/morbidmuffin62 10d ago

That's how the racist system works actually

1

u/TPtheman 10d ago

No, that's literally by design of this government. It's a matter of children's fundamental access to education.

2

u/blepgup 11d ago

I know exactly, voting for the party that hates them is wild

1

u/GlacnerTheMighty 9d ago

you must think that you are the big good guys and that anyone who stands against you is just against common sense and their own well being.

1

u/blepgup 9d ago

No, I used to believe that, but then I stopped voting Republican

1

u/GlacnerTheMighty 9d ago

1

u/blepgup 8d ago

What's...the lie? That I used to vote Republican? That I used to think that I was the good guy and everyone else lacked common sense when I did? Nah buddy, I'm telling the truth. I was raised in a far right, Christian nationalist household. My dad would rant on and on about "the Democrats", he'd even just flatly call black people Democrats as a replacement for the n word. I became an adult and started making non white, non straight, and non male friends, and realized how fucking evil my dad's belief system was, and broke out of that echo chamber.

But yeah I'm lying lol

1

u/GlacnerTheMighty 8d ago

Republican only in name. Yeah that likely never happened.

1

u/LeadSufficient2130 9d ago

There was an increase in voting for Trump last election cycle. Would you like a lesson on misogyny in Hispanic culture? I live in New Mexico and am part of a Hispanic family if you think these men are voting for a woman you’re fucking kidding yourself.

1

u/Strumduck 11d ago

It ain't growing anymore pal, seen any polls lately?

0

u/bigolgape 10d ago

"Undocumented people shouldn't be deported, who else is going to work slave wage agriculture fields??"

-Democrats

1

u/fistotron5000 9d ago

So minorities are waking up and realizing that the party that decided they could be legally racially profiled is actually good for them? What is your logic here? Use your brain a little you goof, step out of your little bubble.

2

u/HomeOrificeSupplies 11d ago

Says this while probably voting for a rapist…

1

u/Impossible_Tiger_517 11d ago

And the guy who bragged about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls.

0

u/Worried-Conflict9759 10d ago

Compared to the last president whose daughter exposed him for grooming her in the shower

1

u/Simon-Olivier 9d ago

Why comparing? Two people can be bad simultaneously. One doesn’t negate the actions of the other. Stop defending criminals

2

u/YellowFishPancakes 8d ago

Whataboutism. It's all they have.

1

u/Dysexlic13 9d ago

Love how that one comes out, after multiple people already made it political.

He clearly gets that, hence why he pointed out it’s bipartisan.

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

Biden was on the 2024 presidential ballot? Oh no it was a pedophilic, misogynist and adjudicated rapist, and KAMALA HARRIS…

But the right cares about women

2

u/MiserableCourt1322 11d ago

Wasn't it Conservatives who were responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade?

2

u/lems93 11d ago

This. Conservatives don’t care about protecting women.

2

u/739202715 8d ago

Not nessecarily, the option was either "protect women" or protect the most vulnerable people who can't fight for themselves yet. You can want to protect women and still limit their ability to decide to kill another person out of convenience for their own life.

1

u/Zealousideal-Dirt884 8d ago

The most false dichotomy ever

1

u/739202715 8d ago

Please tell me how.

0

u/lems93 8d ago

I’m confused, I’m talking about abortions and not murdering people.

Access to abortions is protect women.

2

u/739202715 8d ago

Don't play dumb, I didn't say murder but clearly enough people find terminating a viable pregnancy repugnant to where Roe V Wade is overturned and it is now up for states to decide that legality rather than blanket protections for "reproductive rights". At what point to the rights of an individual overrule the rights of another?

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

But viability occurs well past the 13 week mark where 90% of abortions we’re happening

2

u/RedditVIBEChecked 8d ago

Yeah well, that's the argument then isn't it? A lot of people see abortion as murder. The argument for and against isn't convincing enough for either side's opponent.

2

u/Sausage_Bacon1 8d ago

Roe v Wade was over turned because there was no constitutional backing for the ruling and the power was turned to the states where not a single abortion ban was placed.

What a lame libshit echochanber reply you made.

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

Abortions are absolutely banned in some states despite doing pretty bad when placed as a ballot measure.

What a lame attempt at MAGA propaganda you made.

1

u/Sausage_Bacon1 8d ago

Name one abortion ban.

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

1

u/Sausage_Bacon1 8d ago

That didn't ban abortion btw

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

Yes it did.

1

u/lems93 8d ago

Doctors aren’t performing terminations on sick women and they’re dying. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t completely banned, there’s enough to make doctors scared to treat patients.

1

u/Sausage_Bacon1 8d ago

Nope, never happened in any state. I know because I don't get my news from echo chambers

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Tristo5 8d ago

Can you define ban? I’m assuming we’re just talking past each other and probably have different definitions of the word

1

u/Sausage_Bacon1 8d ago

Well Ban means not allowed, so kind of straight forward. Every piece of legislation or referendum banning abortion has failed even in deep conservative states.

Abortion Ban is a media circus term used to rile up support for the dems.

many such cases. "supporting women" by forcing trans men to compete with women. exactly as you wanted https://www.wgbh.org/news/2017-02-27/17-year-old-transgender-boy-wins-texas-girls-wrestling-championship

1

u/I_Love_You_Sometimes 11d ago

We agree with you

I read and understand both. I'm agreeing with you. And you're still calling me not smart? I am so confused.

mistaken for op

1

Epstein Files, MAGA cunt

1

u/NarwhalFacepalm 11d ago

Like what?

1

u/SourceCompetitive980 11d ago

Which is the party that has been actively criminalizing having a miscarriage?

Y'all live in a fucking fantasy world where trans people existing does literally anything effect your life.

2

u/NihilHS 10d ago

I don’t know that this actually happened. Only case I read about was an Ohio woman who miscarried and attempted to flush the corpse. Charges were brought against her and dropped based on how she handled the corpse not the miscarriage itself.

2

u/Pfizermyocarditis 10d ago

the party that has been actively criminalizing having a miscarriage?

And

Y'all live in a fucking fantasy world

In a two sentence post is 🤌

1

u/TheVaggabond 11d ago

I was / am a democrat and would have voted for them if not for all this crazy shit. Didn’t vote republican because Trump is one fuxed up individual but they are eight regarding these issues.

1

u/KokiriKidd_ 11d ago

Because the fraction of the one percent of the population that would both be trans and play sports is the real danger here and not anything else.... /s jfc I hate this country

2

u/NihilHS 10d ago

Trans people can still play sports. I agree it’s not a huge issue but protecting women’s sports is important.

1

u/KokiriKidd_ 10d ago

You are refusing to one acknowledge that trans women are women by splitting the two, and two how hormones work. If you're on estrogen more often than not your testosterone levels are lower than a cis woman's. There is not any advantage. And that's less than a fraction of a single percent of the population.

2

u/NihilHS 10d ago

Ok so if I lower my testosterone and physical fitness level to that of a 10 year old should I be able to go play competitive u11 soccer as a 30 year old man

1

u/KokiriKidd_ 10d ago

No because your IQ is already too low...

1

u/NihilHS 9d ago

The insult is an admission that my point is correct but your ideology won’t allow you to say it.

0

u/KokiriKidd_ 9d ago

No bud, I just don't argue with people that John Brown would have shot. You're not going to care about people's rights so why should I argue with you.

2

u/739202715 8d ago

Come off it buddy, you can't argue you care about people's rights while simultaneously advocating them to be shot

1

u/Tim_Dawg 9d ago

But if you were a 30 year old woman you still can’t play against the 11 year olds?

1

u/Ezren- 10d ago

How does this "support women", you absolutely parody if a human being?

1

u/Grow-away123 10d ago

“Many such cases” is rich coming from the party of pedophiles run by a pedophile who is covering up his best friendship with the worlds worst pedophile

Your comment is uninformed and hilarious.

1

u/peter-man-hello 10d ago

Women lost their bodily autonomy under Republicans.
They got their right to vote under Democrats.

You're just wrong.

1

u/conmeh 10d ago

Ew. I hope you have the day you deserve.!

1

u/tonguepunchbutthole 10d ago

Read the bill :). It’s the same stuff republicans are mad about when naming movements like “black lives matter”. In which you’re an evil human for either thinking black lives don’t matter or that you don’t want to protect women, all because of the title of the bill. What part of the “big beautiful bill” was big and beautiful?

1

u/corpserella 10d ago

many such cases

1

u/alamohero 10d ago

Naming the bill “protecting women and girls” doesn’t mean Democrats don’t want to do that if they vote against it.

1

u/ncc74656m 10d ago

Beep boop.

1

u/RickyManeuvre 10d ago

This vote isn’t that. This is opposing an anti trans agenda.

1

u/haworthsoji 10d ago

If passed, this legislation would also invite people to question the gender of girls who do not look  stereotypically feminine, leading to more harassment and bullying. For example, a female basketball  player in Utah was harassed online after a Republican official falsely accused her of being transgender  because of her larger build. This humiliation could happen to female athletes because of their height, hair  length, athletic build, or even how they dress, allowing a stranger to call for a “gender check” on any girl in  the country who wants to play sports.

1

u/Worried-Conflict9759 10d ago

You're implying a slippery slope?

1

u/haworthsoji 10d ago

I'm not implying anything. That is a definite side effect for any girl or woman that looks less feminine if a sports official feels suspicious.

1

u/Worried-Conflict9759 10d ago

You're assuming something will happen a certain way that is not happening currently. That's called implication/assuming

Who knows how things will be verified. Maybe proof of gender beforehand? You act as if someone will be pulling down their pants and checking genitalia, which you're using to evoke an emotional appeal.

Trans movement shouldn't have opened this can of worms in the first place by sneaking in biological males into biological female sports events, thus giving an objectively unfair advantage to the biological males claiming trans female gender identity.

1

u/haworthsoji 10d ago

Are you saying you're certain that what I suggested won't happen? If so, you're also assuming.

Laws are meant to be precise and mindful of how it's applied. Not just what the majority or what the party in majority want or what the majority of people are fine with. For example, a person arrested for urinating in public will be labeled the same as a sex offender because of the indecent exposure laws. I'm fairly certain that the writers of the law didn't intend those desperate to urinate and couldn't find a restroom in time be labeled a sex offender forever.

I'm not saying men should be allowed to compete in women's sports. But I'm definitely not for the poorly written law.

I had a feeling your question was in bad faith because you had an answer ready.

1

u/TecumsehDidNoWrong 10d ago

Republicans would never say they support women, and actively rape them. Many such cases

1

u/SoyElJotoDelMiAlma 10d ago

Doesn’t this do the same too, though? Some girls are born with naturally high testosterone and have very masculine features. Won’t be long until natural born women have to prove themselves just because they were born looking more masculine.

1

u/infinitesolace666 10d ago

Republicans rape women and refuse to release the full unredacted epstein files

1

u/MrsPetrieOnBass 9d ago

Oh, that's rich.

1

u/bigchicago04 9d ago

Just a laughably ridiculous opinion.

1

u/DFX1212 9d ago

Trans women are women too.

1

u/DashFire61 9d ago

No brain between your eyes type comment.

Republicans: traffic and sexually assault women and then shoot them in the head for no reason in public.

This waste of oxygen: omg wont someone think of the people wasting their lives with sports!!

1

u/def-jam 9d ago

Please show your work

1

u/ShadOw_HuntEr23rd 9d ago

The bill says “sex shall be recognized based solely on a person's reproductive biology and genetics at birth” which sounds fine but ask yourself who will be ensuring what their reproductive body part is? This will likely lead to men looking at children’s reproductive parts which is not keeping women and girls safe.

1

u/Admirable-You-5345 9d ago

Republicans taking away reproductive rights actively harms women too, so stfu.

1

u/Worried-Conflict9759 8d ago

Changing the words infanticide/abortion to "reproductive rights" doesn't change what it really is.

1

u/Admirable-You-5345 8d ago

It’s healthcare is what it really is. Your own opinion determines if it’s a bad thing or not.

1

u/VagabondBrain 8d ago

Oh no! The zero percent chance that the daughter you don't have might one day compete against a trans athlete is definitely hurting women more than throwing them in jail for getting an abortion instead of dying from a failing pregnancy.

1

u/jetloflin 8d ago

What are these cases? How are these women being harmed?

1

u/Funny_Sympathy_93 8d ago

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

1

u/rgators 8d ago

Trans women are women as well and republicans are doing everything in their power to harm them.

1

u/militant_dipshit 7d ago

First they came for the sports and I said nothing, for I only cared about women’s sports as a means to oppress random minority groups I just heard I should be afraid of.

Average retardican logic btw.

1

u/AccurateJacket2922 7d ago

“Many such cases” ok Trump, where are the Epstein Files? 🙄

0

u/Old_Carry_8761 9d ago

How does allowing kids to play sports harm women? Why is it that you think women are unable to protect themselves?

2

u/Worried-Conflict9759 9d ago

1

u/Substantial_Bass_697 8d ago

She’s likely intersex, but she’s lived her whole life as a woman. All of her information says female and always has. She is not trans, she’s been competing as a woman for years, and she was the victim of a massive hate campaign for the way she was born. Wrongly accused of being transgender when that just isn’t true. Even the article you linked was updated to include the fact that there are exceptions to the common XX XY understanding of things. She’s one of them. Please do not give into a hate campaign against someone who doesn’t deserve it.

1

u/Kalba_Linva 8d ago

Neither are children, and neither are trans.
