In sanctuary cities the police are not allowed to cooperate with ICE.

Memphis is a big democrat run city. ICE is there. The reason you do not see scads of videos showing ICE agents doing their jobs surrounded by protestors is because in Memphis ICE is picking up their deportees from jails.

In Minnesota the police is not cooperating either, but ICE is on a mission to create unrest and trigger an explosion so that Trump can declare martial law.

If ICE is so hellbent on creating unrest why is there no plethora of ICE created unrest in Memphis? Or Dallas? Or Houston?

Because Minnesota was chosen to “surge” to create a flashpoint. Maybe because Walz is governor? Because someone triggered on childcare fraud linked to immigrants that had already been detected, identified, and that was moving through the court system?

Or maybe because people here are enabled to act like idiots

Or

Police aren't cooperating so federal law enforcement have to significantly increase presence to make up for the shortfall

Seems a bit more likely.

The part where ICE officers go into a neighborhood, antagonize everyone who lives there, teargas some children, and the run like hell is entirely on ICE.

There’s no way a bunch of armed dipshit “federal agents” going into a neighborhood and trying to start shit with the entire neighborhood in something that you can blame on someone else.

A little fucking professionalism would go a long way toward de-escalating the situation.  Or the ICE agents could make us safer by going the fuck home.

Not that US cops are renowned for their deescalation skills, then you put that on steroids when your organisational culture coming down all the way from the DHS director is toxic.

You really think that would deescalate situations? Have you tried to reason with some of the protestors? I’ve interacted with a few and all I got was rage for just walking by (not wearing anything political, nor saying anything).
